I am...but novice question...how does one reserve when it becomes available? :confused3

Either online or call the ADR line. It's under the Terrace Desert Party. You can search for it at Disneyworld.com and it comes right up! Don't forget to post if you see it become available!

We need September 22nd! I'm a bit nervous because it is the only day that week we can go! I wish we could be more flexible! By the way...wasn't it June that opened much earlier than expected??

I just called Disney for an ADR for September 23 or 28 and the CM told me it was already full for both nights. Is this true? I was under the impression that it hasn't been opened up for ADRs yet.
Someone help me understand this.
Thanks

September is not open yet for booking. Don't worry. Just keep on checking back here daily.

Okay so now that we are all booked, what happens if the fireworks are cancelled the night we are there due to the weather? Will we get a refund?

Does anyone know where I can find good pictures of the set up from the inside and outside?

Thanks
Donna

By the way, I went online and attempted to book for September. The computer acted like I was booked, let me pick a time slot etc. When I went to pay, it defaulted to August. I bet that is what was happening to the CMs. The new website is a mess! But hopefully, all of us September folks will be doing the happy dance in a couple of weeks! :cool1:

To September DISers and beyond- I was changing one of my ADRs for August today, and noticed the couple of dates I was working with STILL had reservation times for the August dessert party. It is hopeful that if someone misses the ADR opening day of the party in the upcoming months, you will still be able to book :cool1: But it is much better to be a stalker....:thumbsup2

If you look at the pictures from this thread, you'll get a good idea of where the dessert party is located and its surroundings.

Also, I was told by a CM working there last month that they have only cancelled the fireworks once in 17 years. They will continue to postpone the fireworks right up till closing...and the dessert party stays open until the end of the fireworks.

I'm not sure about the refund situation if there was no party... someone else may have that answer.

Hope this information helps a little.:thumbsup2

Same here...we arrive on the 18th and decided to kick off vacation with a dessert party

We chose the 9:20 so that we can see MSEP before we head in- then I won't need to try and schedule that another night!

Thank goodness we got our reservation yesterday...when I did a "pretend" search this morning, there was nothing available for 5 people that day. Phew!

Regardless of the time you are given, that is not the time to go to the party. The ADR system makes them do times as if they were ADRS (and hopefully to spread people out arriving I'm sure( You can go early, In fact I don't even think the cm that did my dessert party even gave me a time. I believe it opens at 8 or 8:15. I would NOT recommend going later and trying to see the parade first because you may get stuck and not be able to make it through crowds or such, or there may be a backlog getting wristbands, and by the time you get in, you want have much time to actually enjoy the party before the fireworks.
Just my personal opinion. Last year we got inline to see mickey and it took a while by the time we got to the dessert party it was 8:30 and quite a backlog of people waiting to get wristbands and get checked In. it was closer to 9 by the time we finally sat down
