Wishes Cruise

Since I'm having such a hard time getting an Illuminations Cruise, was wondering about doing a Wishes cruise as a backup. Can someone tell me more about this? How much does it cost? How many people does it hold? Do you have to order food? When does this leave? Where does it go? How long is it? Where does it go from?

We did a Wishes cruise in June. We were picked up at the Contemporay (p/u happens at other resorts too) on a pontoon boat at 9:00. We cruised around the lake for about 45 minutes. Then parked on the lake in front of the MK entrance. View of fireworks was great. We could see Tink fly but it was more like a green blur.

I did learn that there is a water bridge next to the Contemporary. When you are driving on the road to MK you go under the lake!

I think I'm going to do a Wishes cruise instead of the Illuminations for this trip, since it's the same amount of $$. I was thinking of making a PS for dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe, then be picked up there for the cruise.
