Wishes Cruise

QUOTE:Not sure if it will have copied OK, but you get the general idea. I think I'm perhaps going to order a fruit platter, a cheese platter, soft drinks and a bottle of bubbly

Oh decisions, decisions!!

Oh, and here is a link to an ADR calculator... Just type in your date and it will work out for you when you can book. I kept hitting redial on the phone at about 11-50am here as the lines open 7am Florida time... Just follow the instructions as they have you pressing various keys... In fact I practiced for a few days beforehand and just hung up when I finally got through to a CM each time!!!

I think you are doing exactly the same as us Citrico's Chef's Domaine then the cruise. Having a fruit and cheese platter sounds wonderful, but I think everyone will be stuffed after the meal -( we are going for banquet menu 3 as it's the only way we will make the $650 minimum, there are only 8 of us and 3 of those are little ones.)
Oh and we phoned a few times to practice too, but spoke to the CM , just in case they would book us in early! the PS calculator was a day wrong because it didnt take feb 29th into account but we got through on the 90 day mark right on 7am and bagged the Grand 1:yay: just a little tip for anyone phoning - the recorded message upto 7am says the office is closed, but at 7am it's still a recorded message, asking you to choose an option, so make sure it's not this recording before you hit that redial button again;)

I'm so excited! Just hope its available, I think I'm going to be spending sooo much time worried that everything is available

Oh yes! Flip flops rule! I love heeled shoes too, but only when I really have to wear them - they cause so much pain though, why is it that the prettiest ones always hurt most?

I think we'll just be doing it for 1 hour - I think we might just have little snacks on there & drinks :)

Have you worked out when you guys hit the 90 day mark?? That way you can at least have a couple of trial run phone calls so you can make sure on the day of calling that you re clued up with exactly what buttons you need to press :)

I know when it gets to the "90 day mark" for us im gonna have both me & my df phoning at the same time so we can at least hopefully guarantee one of us gets through:yay: I ll call that "Operation get me Grand 1 ":rotfl:

Positive thinking hun, everything will get sorted (you re just like me as i worry over every little thing)

Think we ll just probably have some drinks on board as i would imagine not tooo long after a buffet meal we ll all still be full;)

Heels to me are a thing of torture:eek: , im useless at walking in them at i dont wear heels too often so most of the time my df stands there laughing at my pathetic footsteps:lmao: . When it comes to taking them off i literally fling them off my feet as by then im usually in immense pain, give me trainers anyday:woohoo:

Yayyyyyy!! Someone else doing The Chefs Domaine!!! Even if its pants I'll pretend it was fantastic when I get back!! :rotfl:

I've been dieting forever, so I plan on meeting the $650 minimum just by myself that night! There is only going to be 6 of us.... My Mum is completely tea total... my Dad is hammered after a pint.... DS is 12.... so that leaves DF, FMIL and moi! I'm not sure that heaving over the side of the Grand 1 because i've had one too many cocktails is an attractive look on ones wedding day!!!

I might just get the fruit platter and be all healthy...

... then again...

CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mmmmm

I think thats my df's worst worry as i tend to drink alcohol like its water & when i get a tad drunk i tend to be over him like a rash;) & then follows the throwing up stage.........lovely:headache:

I dont drink very often but when i do oh boy it goes to my head so im gonna try to just "sip" things for a change otherwise my mums gonna get a nasty shock during my wedding day:rotfl:. Last time i get very drunk & very ill due to it (just before xmas) i got a massive lecturing from my mum & im 27  .

So i think im gonna limit the amount of alcohol on my wedding day AS id rather watch Wishes then admire the sight of the water whilst hanging over the ledge of a yacht:dance3:

I've not worked anything out yet  I'm hopeless arent I!! We're just going through the picking & choosing at the moment and then we'll start getting fully under way with the planning :surfweb: I'm sure when the time comes we'll be doing a 'Operation Grand 1' as well :rotfl: ;)

Yeah, thats good thinking! I'm not sure whether we'll be dining before the cruise or not, so I'll just ask for drinks and maybe some sort of sweet treat :cutie:

It's weird, because for most of my life I've always wore heels, even on the beach (that's another story :rotfl: ) But when I hit 25, I switched to trainers & flip flops and have never looked back & my feet love me for it :cool1:
