I have read alot about the Illuminations Cruise, but what does the Wishes cruise entail? I trying to decide between the two..
Thanks :wave2:

I've never gone on the Illuminations Cruise, however my family did take the Wishes Cruise in December (rather chilly). Anyway, a pontoon boat which seats 12 passengers takes you from an assigned location (we left from the Contemporary marina - I know they also leave from the Wilderness Lodge marina) on a short tour of the area and then "parks" in the lake area in front of the Magic Kingdom. Our boat had the Wishes music on the radio so we could hear the narrative and music they hear in the park. There is a thread for the Illuminations Cruise on which Diser's are looking for others to join them and share the cost ($187 for the basic cruise). You could also go to Allearsnet.com and search under firework cruises. There's a description of the boat and cruise. Have fun!

We have done 3 Illuminations Cruises, 2 on a pontoon boat and one on Breathless. On the pontoon boats we have desserts and sodas onboard which as nice. We have done 2 Wishes cruise soon to be , 1 on a pontoon with snacks like the 2 over at Epcot and we have done 2 onboard Grand 1. I like the Wishes cruise best just because the pictures of the fireworks going off with the castle in the background are some of the best pictures of the trip.

I am taking another Wishes cruise this March, I have invited my brother and his family for dinner while I'm at DisneyWorld and I have added the cruise after dinner. Should be a great evening!
