Wishes cruise information needed

We are still planning for our trip which is coming faster and faster. We now have a wishes cruise booked with another Diser family and are looking forward to it. Yeah!!! Has anyone ever taken the Wishes cruise before. We are leaving from the Poly. Wishes takes place at 8:45 that night. How long is the cruise? What do you do? Can you hear the music as well? Any information about this is appreciated. Can't wait to hear about your experience with this cruise. Thank you.

I did the Wishes cruise in December. We had two large groups and had rented two of the boats from the Wilderness Lodge. One of the boats had the music piped on it. Both of our boats stuck together and anchored next to each other.

It is an hour-long cruise. Your Capt. will probably cruise around the Lake, perhaps showing all the different deluxe resorts from the Water. Then you will park in front of the Magic Kingdom -- actually in about the middle of the lake to view Wishes.

You may even get to view the Electrical Water Pagent -- depending on the time -- during your cruise.

It is a nice experience. I love Wishes myself.

Although this is an excellent way to enjoy Wishes -- I sure hope you plan to see the show as well from Main Street inside the Magic Kingdom. There is something to be said for viewing it from Main Street. It is just so magical. :thewave:

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like wishes was a nice experience for you. I sure hope my cruise goes as well. Has anyone else done the wishes cruise? Was it worth the money or would you have preferred to stay in the MK and watch?
