We have scheduled a cruise for Wishes which is at 10pm. The parade is at 9pm. Is there anyway to see/do both? Thanks for all your expertise!

I think it would be very hard to do both. Last year we did a wishes cruise and I think we had to be at the dock 45 min to an hour before the wishes time. You would not have much time to get from the MK to the resort where your cruise departs from.

How far out can we ditch the boat idea and not get charged? In hindsight, while the Wishes cruise would be fun for you and I, the boys would probably rather do stuff (rides) in that amount of time and then we could see the parade AND the fireworks.

You can cancel up to 48 hours out without being charged for the Wishes cruise. No way you'd be able to see Spectro the same night as you'll have to meet the boat about an hour before Wishes is scheduled, which would be right at the time Spectro starts.

Does MK have a second Spectro parade scheduled on the night you will be doing this? Perhaps if you headed back to the park after the cruise to catch the second parade. That is usually the less crowded one too. Perhaps if you took the cruise out of one of the resorts closest to MK it wouldn't be too much running around.

How old are your boys? My nephews both loved the cruise. They drive around the lagoons showing you the different hotels and giving you history on Disney. We were able to see the electrical water parade as well as the fireworks. It really is a great experience and I would highly recommend you go through with your plans, I don't think you would regret it. :)

You can cancel the cruise 48 hours out and not be charged. You would not b e able to do both in the one night, because you have to be at the boat dock 1/2 hour before your cruise departs, and the cruise departs 1/2 hour before Wishes, so you'll have to be at the boat dock at the same time that Sprectro is starting. What is try to change the Wishes cruise to a different night? Or is Spectro running more than once during your stay?

Hi!

We also wanted to see both and arranged for our cruise on a night with two Spectro showings. It worked out perfectly!

The captain let us off at the MK boat launch. There was a crowd leaving the park after Wishes so we totally avoided that by taking the train to the other side of the park. We (unknowingly :upsidedow ) got a great spot sitting on the brick curb right outside of Peco's Bills, near Splash Mountain.

Afterward, we were able to take our time leaving the park. We sat in the Hub and watched Main Street clear out and saw the Kiss Goodnight. It was a fabulous end to our trip!

We are traveling with challada and our kids are 2 DSs almost 11, DS 13, and DD 6. I think they would love the boat ride and the tour, but how do we find out about the Electric Water Parade.

Thanks for all your input!

We will be there 4-5-6, the park closes at 10 with Wishes and only one Spectro is scheduled. Bummer. We'll see it another day.
