Havent eatten there yet, will be in Sept for our anniversary but back in 2008 when I was making my dining ADR for our honeymoon the CM suggested Narcosee for that reason, so I booked it this trip..
You can see it from the restaurant but many people come down to the docks and stand in front of the windows, blocking diners' views. We've always had to go outside and watch from the dock (music is piped).
Yes you can see them. We went for our honeymoon and watched them from our seats. Many people went outside but we were able to see them just fine from our table.
We sat out on the end of the dock to watch it and yes, the audio is piped in, but I couldn't really hear it at all. Other people were talking which is fine, but I'm not sure it would have been loud enough even if no one was talking.
Also note that if you eat there and get a table in the top area which we did, its pretty much impossible to see the fireworks without crouching, straining your neck etc. This was in May. We did not enjoy our experience for our anniv. They did pipe the music into the restraunt.
I also had no problem watching the fireworks from our table by the window when we ate at Narcoossee's. If there were people on the deck outside, I didn't even notice them. Needless to say, our view was not disturbed at all.
To give you an idea of what Wishes looks like from Narcoossee's, here are some pics from the deck. I was surprised that from this vantage point that the fireworks were as far off to the left of the castle as they were that night. It was still a nice view though.
I have had to exit and go to the dock in order to see. The wait staff is observant about this and ended up placing our dessert order until we came back in.
The pics above are great. However, keep in mind it also depends on which way the wind is blowing. The night I was there - no wind. So after the first firework, they all ended up displaying in a cloud. It was still nice to experience though.
