Wish wifi and other connectivity issues

We will be heading out on the Wish next week. (Yay!!) Have been on the Dream 4x previously (last right before COVID) and basically unplugged bc wifi was not great. Heard all ships have much better wifi offerings now? Can anyone tell me the per day cost? We are in Concierge 3A and heard there may be one day free the rest would have to pay. Would love to know if it is unlimited, length of cruise, how many devices, etc. Any scoop on that would be great.

Along those lines this is the first time our kids are old enough for Edge. No check out from us! One has a phone and we would like to touch base with them. Before messaging through the Disney Navigator app was hit or miss. Any updates on that? Assume we could text on wifi?

The Navigator App worked but we found it easier to use iMessage. You don’t need a data plan to use it just put your phone on airplane mode and turn on WiFi.

The wifi was better, not always great but definitely better than in the past and on other ships. I think the cost is $24 or $26 for 24 hrs in 3A after the first free 24 hrs. DH and I had been in 1 BR suite the cruise before (free for the length...or so it appeared) so didn't realize 3A had to pay. I'm not sure how much it would've been for the length of cruise, sorry.

The messenger app for the navigator is still...delayed would be the best way to put it. It's functional but sloooooow at times.

Enjoy your cruise-the Wish is different than the Dream but I found it beautiful and the lounge is SO large! Have a raspberry smoothie on the sun deck for me

By now the OP is back from their cruise. I was on board a couple of weeks before that also in a 3A. Found the wifi to be adequate.
