I am staying at SSR, if anyone needs a ride.

After the shift is over, I plan on scream teaming. I will probably head to one place (possibly Animal Kingdom) until John passes, then head over to BC & remain there until the last person passes, then make my way over to the finish.

I think I am going to join the YC/BC group after the water stop since that's where I am staying and we will have Zack (5) and my niece Hailey (4) with us. Might be best to cheer close to our room with the munchkins.

Diane -- My family LOVES Old Key West. I don't think we can cheer from there, though. I'm a bit fuzzy on the full marathon course.

Even though we own at BCV, we've stayed at OKW the most.

I’m not one of the cool kids????? Actually, BCV was our first choice, but someone (ok …me) waited too long to book. I will be at BCV to Scream Team….does that count for anything??? Guess I’ll have to join Diane in crashing the party.

Although we are at Pop Friday & Saturday and check into BCV Sunday morning. For the record I'm totally up for a post marathon Kitchen Sink. Do you think we can get it with mint and chocolate ice cream and chunks of mint cookies, you know like a thin mint blizzard??? I love those things!!

No we can't really cheer from OKW. Though Mom said she was watching the marathoners this January cutting thru somehow from OKW to the start. Not sure I'd want to cut it that close. But no matter we'll be at the Grand Floridian water station before the start getting ready

Well the good news is as long as I carry my park pass and if I feel the need to crash at least I know of a few rooms at BCVs. Of course stinking as I do after the half I'm sure no one will be home when I knock

Susan and I are going to cheer for the 5K. Mom is signed up to walk it and I think Cathy signed up to volunteer for the 5K.

Ahhh. A weeks vacation that including our flight down on thursday will have us up at least by 5 am every morning for 4 mornings. Gotta love January vacations

I would love to volunteer, but I have this fear that my boyfriend will KILL me if I get up AGAIN at that hour.

Plus I may have to run him to the airport early, (we have conflicts already!!!)

So....I guess I will hold off on signing up until we get his conflicts figured out because I don't want to volunteer and then not show!

Carol if you are talking about getting up early to volunteer on Sunday remember that cheering at Hollywood Studios or the Yacht/Beach areas are great for catching the Marathon a little later in the day
