The school musical with it's "cast of thousands" and costumes to match is this morning- PD needed for all to go well- there were some glitches at final rehearsal yesterday!!!!!

Thanks for the PD- It worked! Everything went great we have one more performance tonight at 7. The only glitch today was that about half way through the show this morning as I was running around making sure kids got their costume changes done quickly, the office notifies me that there is a man from the Office of Comparative Politics and Economics in BEIJING, CHINA waiting to speak with me! My life can be so bizarre some times......... p.s. the office was not joking- he was really there evidently someone gave him my name and he is visiting the U.S. until May 3rd, so he tracked me down-yikes! My kids come first , so I told the secretaries to inform him that I was unavailable- next time someone comes from Beijing , China to see me, they need to call first-I'm a busy woman!!!! I guess I should answer the emails he left for me...........

Okay, one more update -right before we left for the school last night for the evening performance I got a phone call from my State Rep , who wanted to let me know that a "high-ranking official" from Beijing would be contacting me to discuss politics at the local level So ........ evidently I told a have now told a "high ranking official" from a foreign country that I was too busy to talk with him I checked the email he sent me and got a message that I needed to download someting first to translate it because my computer doesn't recognize Chinese chartacters Any way, the play went great, thanks for the good thoughts

School plays and musicals are always so good to watch, always enjoyed them when the kids were in them years back. Glad it all went so well. Enjoy the political visit too.
