Tomorrow morning I'm getting up bright and early to "walk the marathon" to see if I can do it. I'll wear what I intend to wear in January and will start the walk at 6:00 Disney time (5:00 here at home). It's still five weeks away, but I have to know I can do this!!! :p

Good luck! I think it's a great idea, even though none of the training tells you to do this. We did a 1/2 in October and knowing that I CAN do it has completely alleviated my fears about Disney. I give you credit for doing the early morning thing, 'cause that early hour, and long wait time are what is going to be the hardest part I think!

Have a great walk ... be sure to post how you make out! We're all :cheer2: for you!

Yes, I can do this. I think the hardest part was around mile 8. That's when I started thinking I was out of my mind. ;) It was so cold in the beginning that I had no trouble with motivation to get moving. Somewhere toward the end, though, the layers started coming off. I was sweating freely by the time I was finished.

I know now that the waiting to get started is going to be hard. It's going to be cold, and we're going to be standing around just waiting. And what if it's raining? I thought about taking a poncho in my fanny pack in case of rain.

Thanks for the encouragement. :cheer2:
