we are off to take our xmas pics of our little man and i have been preparing ALL day for it. I have wrapped fake packages, bought a fake tree ~ which by the way ds just loves. we told him he could use it for his room after we take the pictures~bought him a new outfit, new shoes, new everything.
now.....we are off to the cemetery to take the pictures. i know kind of morbid right, but they have the nicest weeping willow with a beautiful wooden bridge i'm trying to make it look like he just cut the tree down and is bringing it home in his wagon.
now for the hard part-
what to write on my card?
looking for a "catchy" (is that a word?) phrase......

ok done! we did it this afternoon and i took about 40 pics and ended up with like 7 good ones! i switched my camera from color to b/w a few times and as much as I love the b/w we both agreed that color was the way to go. so anyways i had a coupon with snapfish so i uploaded them and made the cards this afternoon. it says merry christmas on the card and then they only give you 35 spaces to fill in after that, so as much as i wanted a catchy phrase we went with the traditional love, me,dh and ds 2007.
but they did come out just so great! i have never been so organized before. i'm usually last minute on these sort of things. i just really, really want to enjoy it this year. my little man (5) is just so into it this year.

We will have to take photos the weekend of Thanksgiving because that is the next time all 7 of us are together with NOTHING going on.. shoot! Wait.. ds has a tournament...Oh, everyone is use to my kids playing basketball.. maybe I'll get one of the mom's to take a photos of us on the stairs leading down to the court...

Just home for another basketball game and again another win...but I didn't have to yell at the referees this time.. they knew the rules! Yeah!

OMG- you are so organized! I haven't even bought the kids Christmas outfits yet- ok, I have DD's skirt. I actually plan on taking them to see Santa this weekend- our Jr. League's Christmas show is this weekend and they have the most AWESOME Santa. Mickster- love the picture- it totally looks like JOY.
