Well, in an hour I go in for a follow up coloscopy. I had colon cancer surgery a year ago, and now its time for followup. Thank goodness, the cancer was caught in time and I am cured. I didn't think I'd be nervouse about this followup, but I guess I am. Maybe it's the 36 hours of not eating plus the (yucky) prep process, but I feel a little shaky.

I'll let you know how it goes, and thanks for any kind thoughts sent my way!

Thanks for the kind thoughts! The procedure went really smoothly. The dr. found a small polyp, which he thinks is not significant - he'll have test results back in 7 - 14 days. In the menatime, I will have a routine CT scan to make sure everything looks good. All good news! Since I have eaten and drunk some, I feel much better! (And weighing in at a dehydrated 187 # was the highlight - lowest weight in 25 years!)
