Wish me luck. I just sent out a complaint letter about my rooms at two different disney deluxe resorts. I sent the letter to James Rasulo, president of Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts and copied the General Managers of both hotels!

Well, one room was never cleaned and I had to go to the pool to get towels to shower with the next morning and then we checked into another hotel the next day and that room was dirty also! Used soap and shampoo in the shower, etc.! After I complained about the first room not being cleaned I would have thought they would have made darn sure the next room was spotless for us! All I got were promises that they would clean our room from then on!

Just out of morbid curiousity.....why do you need luck with this?

I had to send a complaint letter myself a few years back. Not only did I get a letter back, I got a call!

I have to admit the fact that they responded changed my attitude considerably. That's good customer service.

It's your right to complain as a consumer. If a company cares, which I'm sure WDW does, they will work to make you a repeat customer.

Good luck!

Good luck, Tigger9. As Robin said, they do aim to please, and sometimes, things slip, and they want to know about it. As good as Disney is, they are not perfect. I am sure you will hear from them.

I know if my room wasn't cleaned I would have made a call right then and there. Why in Heaven's name would you go to the pool to get a towel, you should have called housekeeping and complained. What hotel did you stay at?

Ugh... that happened to me at CSR... My first room was "used" I called the fornt desk right awaya nd they changed and upgraded me to a better room. :) Good Luck.

Ok, here is what happened in a nutshell...
We checked into AKL on Friday, saturday morning we left for the parks at 9:30 am and hung the "Please clean up room" sign on the door. Came back at 3:00 for a quick nap for the baby changed the sign to do not disturb. Left at 4:15 changing the sign back to Please make up room. Came back at 7:30pm. Room was still not touched. Called and was told someone would be right up. I waited till 8:30 and no one showed up. We needed to nurse the baby and get her to sleep. I went to the desk and asked if they had any towels, I was told no and try housekeeping. I was really agry at this point and went to get pool towels to shower with in the morning.
Checked out in the morning and was told by the manager he would guarantee everything would be perfect from then on. I told him I was heading to the WL that day.
Checked into WL room was not ready, which was fine. Left for the parks etc. baby napped in the stroller. Came back to the room had dinner etc. Put the baby to bed at 8:00 and started unpacking. I found used soap used shampoo and dirty bathtup! I went to the desk and complained. The manager was very very rude and offered nothing more than to make sure my room would be cleaned from then on and the rest of my stay would be perfect. Just what I was told by the last manager.
All in all I got nothing from them! It made for a not very pleasant trip for my daughters first trip to the world.

So they never cleaned the room that day at all? I would have been mad and made some noise if I were you. Don't worry about your daughter not enjoying her first trip, she's obviously pretty young if you were nursing her, she doesn't care if the room is clean, I'm sure she didn't even notice. I'm sure she had a wonderful time and you'll have great memories of her first trip. :D

Oh I made some noise alright. I made more noise when the second room was not cleaned. I was told that I was in Disney and I could not use that kind of language. Oooops!!!

I'm sorry about your frustrations. What are you hoping will come out of your letter?
And yes, it's generally a nice idea not to use "that kind of language" because A.) you were at Disney and children are EVERYWHERE and B.) It usually puts people off, and doesn't help you, especially when you are complaining.
