WISH check week of 4-20

WOW!! What a bunch of losers we have here this week. Congratulations to you all. And to those who maintained, or even added a little, here's a little pixie dust to help with the will power. ;)

I had a good news/bad news week.

The bad news is that I'm up 0.6 lb. It's not much, but it's my first gain since I started WISH and WW. But, I haven't been journaling my food or figuring exact points for everything, so I guess this is my lesson to learn! (The ham, scallopped potatoes, etc. from Sunday probably didn't help too much, either...)

The good news is that I got into a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear in about 18 months! They're still a "little" tight, but actually much more comfortable than my others that are practically falling off.

So, I am back to counting points and journaling faithfully. Hopefully this will be the last time I have to learn THAT lesson!!

I'm pretty darn happy I lost, dddrrrrruuuuumm rrroooll please....
2.6 pounds, plus last weeks .8 equals 3.4 so far:D Hopefully next week I'll be able to get my 5# clippie:Pinkbounc

Thanks for everyone's support, I couldn't have done it without you.

Alice

<b>perdidobay</b> You only gained 2.5 pounds on vacation? That's great. Well, that is all behind you now (<i>you</i> tell <i>me</i> if that is a pun or not) ;)

We can't worry about the past we only concern ourselves with <b>right now</b>. Sounds like you are already on track. You will lose that 2.5 pounds easily and you will even lose more than that.

Losing 4 pounds in just a little bit more than three weeks is great progress. Good for you. Only six more pounds to your goal. You're going to lose those 6 pounds before you know it.

I'm glad you are going to be visiting WISH more often. Isn't it a motivational place? I love it here :)

<b>nicolep91</b> Don't feel so sad. You only gained one pound. You can lose that quickly and then you can continue on to goal. {{{HUGS}}} sweetie, I've done the same thing, except I didn't put myself in check after gaining just one pound I just kept eating and gaining. You should be proud of yourself for doing something about this first pound. Good for you!

Okay, you need to visit WISH more often. We will help keep you motivated. Hang in there and never give up, promise?

<b>SnackyStacky</b> Look at that gorgeous new clipart of yours. You have really been so successful, Dan. What a wonderful example and inspiration you are for us all.

<b>Disneyaholic</b> How lucky you are that this was your first gain since taking the WISH challenge and you only gained .6 pounds! That's great!

You are able to fit into a smaller size too! Sounds like you are making pretty good progress to me. You will lose that .6 pounds and more this coming week, I'm sure of it.

Hang in there and get back on your eating plan. You're going to succeed and reach your goal. I know this because you are a WISHer and WISHers are <i>successful</i>!

Hey TAmmy,

Congrats that is great!!

Ok completed first full week of WW. I lost 3 lbs. Not as much as I would have hoped for.......I've been doing really well with it and exercising. But I've been drinking a lot of water and er I'm a bit bloated at the moment! LMAO TMI TMI

Nikole the mean old bloat fairy was at my house last week except I didn't lose 3 pounds, I <i>gained</i>.

You could have gained too. Aren't you just really happy that you lost 3 pounds instead? I think losing 3 pounds is wonderful, myself :)

Well, so you didn't lose as much as you wanted--just think--you will probably lose more weight than you expect to lose next week :teeth:

I'm proud of you Nikole, you are on your way to goal and you are determined! You are an excellent example for me. I'm really glad you are here on WISH with us :)

Hey all...this post will be really honest....I AM SO HAPPY....why?...because I STAYED THE SAME....why does that make me happy?.....because my last WW meeting was in the morning.....since then I've been on vacation, celebrated the Easter holiday and WEIGHED IN AT NIGHT!!!!

Weigh in tonight! I lost 2.6 this week...total lost so far (since 4/10) is 7.6 pounds! WOOHOO!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Does anyone else find themselves smiling every time they read this thread? I love all the losers, the maintainers, the take-a-deep-breath-and-start-again guys...

Sometimes it's our confessional, sometimes our "Bank of Strength." Sometimes we're making deposits, sometimes withdrawals. It all balances out.

I smile a ton when I read this - so many of you have such wonderful stories to share both in good and bad times. I'm inspired by all of you, and that is what keeps bringing me back!

I got weighed today at Curves. Ok..I did not lose any weight, but I did lose 3 INCHES!!!!

2 inches were from around my abdomen!!

Hooray!! I am so happy!

Will keep watching what I eat, and work out on the treadmill more!

I just went back to WW today (I didn't go back after my WDW trip last year.:( ) and since last August, I have only gained back 1.8 lbs!!:bounce: I'm really excited about that, especially considering how badly I have eaten during that time. I'm keep telling myself I am going to stick with it this time so we'll see. We are going to HH at the beginning of June, so maybe I can be 5-10 lbs lighter by then.

<b>Nancy</b> You are doing so well! How great to lose so much weight in one week. 2.6 pounds of ugly fat gone forever. Didn't it sound pretty when I said that? That was fun, I'm going to say it again...<b>2.6 pounds gone forever</b>. How proud you must be feeling about yourself. You should be feeling proud, too, we are all proud of you :)

How amazing that you have lost 7.6 pounds in two weeks. You are just moving along so quickly. I can tell that you are determined and motivated. What a great feeling that is, don't you think?

You are a WISHer and you are <b>successful</b>! WAY TO GO!

<b>KathyTX</b> you are really good with words. I loved when you said, "Sometimes it's our confessional, sometimes our "Bank of Strength." Sometimes we're making deposits, sometimes withdrawals. It all balances out."

I really do love that and you are so right.

<b>lisajl</b> That is absolutely <b>awesome</b>! I would rather lose inches than pounds any day. You are <i>smaller</i> and that's the whole point, right?

Ooooh, this is just <b>so</b> exciting. Look at you go! You are a success and I am proud of you!

<b>TIdoublegaER</b> I think that's great! You were off program since last August and you only gained 1.8 pounds? That is truly amazing. You must be more determined and careful about what you eat than you think.

I think losing 5-10 pounds by June is a very reasonable goal. I have no doubt that you can do it. Onward and downward my friend. You can do this, we will do it together.

I'm glad to have you in my support group TIdoublegaER. I hope you can visit us often.
