Well another week has come and gone!!! Memorial weekend is upon us!! This means lots of family gatherings and the start of Picnic season!! Watch out for those sneaky high calorie of hidden carb foods at picnics!!! They are everywear!! If you are traveling please be careful and have a safe trip!!! Well Since I don't work Monday I do not weigh in until tuesday this week!!!

I can let you know that I tried the next smaller size jeans on today and almost!! I can get them buttoned and zipped and can even breath but they are just a bit snug yet!! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks!!! We shall see!!!!!!!!!! So how did everyone do this week??

I actually lost 6lbs. this week. I posted more info in my WISH journal. I am so happy!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
 
I just weighed and this week I have lost 3 pounds so that's a total loss of 2 pounds so far, better than last weeks gain!!
 
Well I weighed Friday and I lost 3lbs so am to a total of 33lbs, but will be weighing on Tuesday b4 I go to see if i can get to 35lbs b4 my holiday
 

Wow, lots of wonderful losses this week, and some new clippies too! Way to go everyone! As for me, I am down 2 lbs, bringing my total weight loss to 15 lbs since I began WISH 4/7. This 2 lb loss is somewhat of a mystery to me as I have not stayed to my program exactly as I should have this past week, although my exercise was good. Well, I'll take the loss anyway!

Congratulations to everyone so far who lost this week! I, too, fall into that category... I weighed in yesterday, and dropped another 6 pounds! :D :D :D :D I am proudly sporting the 5 lb clippie now! I did increase my exercise this week and stuck faithfully to Atkins, so it seems like it's paying off.

I don't have to worry about being tempted this weekend by picnics, as I'm working all day Sunday and Monday (hey, Memorial Day is busy in retail), but on Thursday, I'm off to WDW for a week, so it's going to be really hard to be good all week :)
 
I maintained this week! I lost .8 which is supposedly maintenance, and that makes me happy!!!

Still waiting for the location of that goal clippie!!!! :bounce: :bounce:

I went over last night on my points, but that's okay. Today is a new day, and besides, I've been eating points to lose, so I've banked up a good 8-10 points which would cover what I had last night, so it may be another good maintenance week.

I wanted to have a little bit of a cushion, but that can take all the time it wants since I'm AT GOAL!!! :)
 
Down another 1.5 lbs this week. I had a bad day yesterday eating out twice which is rare for me anyways. I'll take it and move on. A total loss of 48 lbs so far and counting. I am not taking it to bad it's TOM and a loss is a loss is a loss! Next week will be better. I'm weighing in at 186.5 from a starting point of 234.5 so i'm very happy with my progress my four month anniversary with my new eating plan is thursday and i'd say there's cause for celebration here. Congradulations to all my losser friends you guys are doing awesome and Dan i'm so proud of you for maintaining this week you are off to a wonderful maintance start. I can't wait to join you by the end of the year. 135 does'nt seem a life time a way like it did in the beingging. Have a wonderfull week everyone and don't forget to drink your water!
 
After 6 full days on Induction, drinking lots of water, and tackling my addiction to Diet Mt. Dew, I weighed in this morning 11 pounds less than last Sunday.
 
Wow, some really awesome results this week so far! Way to go everyone!!!

Dan, MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS on being at goal!!! Wahoo!!!!! Just wondering, when you reach goal do they add some points back so you maintain instead of continuing to lose? I'm still a long way from reaching that point but I've heard that's what happens. Congratulations again!!!
 
Just weighed in for the week, and I am down an additional 2 pounds, for a total since starting the Challenge of

Fifty-Two!

Got on the scale today, not expecting to land where it did. I lost 2½ pounds to put the total at 35! Yeah! Now, you should have seen the confused (and concerned) look from my DH as I jumped up and down

with an, "I GOT my new clippie!" I think that he was ready to send for the straight jacket. This clippie has taken a while to get, and I expected another week. Hooray!

Michelle, that 5 pound clippie looks GOOD on you! But don't get too-oo attached! ;)

Sue, you are going in the right direction! Weigh to go!

Elise, fingers crossed that you get that clippie before you head out, but whatever the result, have a great time!

Nancy, I'm so glad to hear of your loss! I know that you were a little discouraged this week. Well done!

Linda, yup! Take that loss and the clippie that goes with it. Sometimes, weight loss and the scale just doesn't make sense, does it?

Tammy! Look how close you are to that 50 pound clippie! I haven't had the loss as quickly as you, but your "lose by %" is something that I aspire to. Thanks you for that mini goal!

Congrats everyone - looks like a great week.

Since I usually weigh in before breakfast (and use the Monday weigh in as the official) I decided to use this mornings instead. With the holiday I know I'll be a little lazy and eat before heading to the shower.

Drum roll please.....2.5 pounds this week! That means...

4.5 since officially joining WISH/49.5 since I began this latest leg of the journey 1-31-03/89.5 gone from my heaviest weight.

Or to put it another "weigh" ;)

2.5 pounds until I am into the "normal" weight range for my height/ 10.5 pounds until I reach my original goal - 100 pounds off my heaviest/ 25.5 until I reach the "ideal" weight for my height.

On my second week I've lost 5 pounds. Don't know how much I lost the first since the scale was busted. New scale, new starting point.

with the holiday and my Mini-goal date of May 31, I will not be WI until friday of this week. I hope to get in touch with the Y gal and get my BF tested that day too.

Congrats to all your LOSERS this week, extra pats on the back for Dan for hitting GOAL! that is soooo awesome!

WOW everyone ... congrats! I maintained AGAIN this week, and I had to do the 2 out of 3 tries on the scale just to get this result :( I was telling my dh that I am getting discouraged. I have pretty much been the same weight since my ds was born 3 years ago. In that time, I did very little exercise, and ate whatever I felt like. My first month at Curves was better than I expected, since I only went on average 3 times a week. This past month, I have been going minimum of 4 or 5 times a week ... and I'm not seeing as good results (measure day is tomorrow, and of course I can only go at night so might as well not even get on the scale!) I know that my results will be slow, because I am not on a specific diet. I have however, cut way back on the amount of bread I eat, and I do not drink Coke like I used to, and Water is actually my preferred beverage these days!

I guess it boils down to that I feel better, and I am getting way more exercise than I used to ... and this is a good thing. And it's way too early in this journey of weight-loss to start getting discouraged now. I just wish those darned scales were more forgiving.

Ugh! :( Well I was up 2 pounds this week and I don't think I can say they belong to the bloat fairy. :( I did pretty badly the last half of the week and over the weekend. I know I deserve to gain 2 pounds but I still am upset about it. :( :( :(

I was only 1/2 pound from the goal I set for myself for the end of May and now in order to meet that goal I will need to lose 2.5 pounds by next Saturday. Not impossible but certainly much more difficult.

19lbs. total since 3/31/03 on WISH. I did have a goal of 20lbs. for my trip, which is tomorrow, so I'm very close and can still do it.

Next weigh-in is in 2 weeks. So, my paln for vacation is to do lots of exercize, do Atkins for breakfast, lunch and dinner but if a dessert hits me, go for it. If I only gain 3 pounds, I would be thrilled since it would be water weight. WISH me luck and you all have a great 2 weeks.
 
Well I stayed the same this week. I just can't seem to get back in the groove. I went to Curves three days last week and pushed a littler harder but I just craved more food and couldn't resist. I am tomorrow I wake up with a better mind set. I really want to loose 25 - 30 lbs before August 16th.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am trying to follow Weight Watchers point system.
