WOW GANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that it i the middle of May already!!!! Where does the time go!!!! Well it is that time again!!!!! So how did everyone do this week!!! As for me I will know Monday mornig!!! I am not hoping for much since it was a week filled with cravings so I just want to gain no more than 1 lb!!!!! Anything better than that would be a nice surprise!!! So truth time!!!!! How did you do??

Hi, this is my first offically Wish check-in.
down 2.5lbs this week, for a total of 8.5lbs. since joining WISH.

Wendy

Welcome Princess Michelle...I am glad you decided to join us. Lots of info here and very nice people. Good luck on your quest to being healthy!!!

Wendy!!! Good for you!! Great job!!! Keep it up sweetie!!!

I do not have to check in til Wednesday. I do nto expect any ups or downs ....crossing fingers as I have had a few indulgences this week, and a few days for not much exerise :(

I have a short vacation coming up...and I am going to enjoy myself. I will be looking to stay as close as I can to atkins, but I need this vacation...

As anyone who read my post yesterday will know, I am up this week but determined to do better next week.
Sue

I'm down 2 pounds this week. I've been doing the WATP tapes for several weeks. This morning I tried my first "outdoor" walk. Managed to do a mile in exactly 16 minutes. It's a start, but I've got a lot of work to do before that marathon.:D

Wendy: Congratulations on your 2.5 loss this past week! Awesome!

Nancy: Another 2 lbs gone forever! If that is not a feat in and of itself, you did your first mile in only 16 minutes?! Let me tell you that that is a great start! You WILL be ready for that marathon!

As for me, I stayed the same:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc ! Why all that bouncing around for a no loss week, you ask? Well, we just got back from a week at WDW this past Wednesday. My goal had been to not gain weight on our trip, and I accomplished that goal! Yahoo! So, my loss is still sitting at a 13 lb total. I can assure you, it will be less than that at next checkin.

Onward and downward, WISHers!!

Linda

I'm down -3lbs this morning. Which i'm so happy about. Now i'm totally on track since my trip two weeks ago derailed me a tick. I'm at a 188 starting from 234.5. I've gone from an 20 to a 14 which i'm very very happy about. I've already got a new pair of tommy 12's hanging taunting me from my clothes and i'm ready to wear them soon! I went out to eat last night and had some chips at the mexican resturants but the killer was the two gold margarites i had. So i'm thrilled i was able to indulge last night and not pay a heavy weight in price for it. I drank about 6 bottles of water though after the drinks.LOL

Wendy and Nancy WTG! You girls are really doing a great job. Wendy 8.5 lbs is huge for only two weeks. Your off to a great start. And Nancy, i am no where near a 16 minute mile yet. I am hoping to get to goal by christmas (135'ish) the my new year will be all about training for the marathon. You have great determination to start so early maybe you can offer some tips for us all later.

I contuine to struggle with the exercise though since reurning home from my trip. I have a exercise buddy (via the internet) and i have set 3 times as a goal this week for watp and 3 times for the firms's ab scuplt video which i love to do. So hopefully my tummy with thank me for my hard work with nice lean muscles one day in the future. Have a great week everyone!

AARRGGHH! I've been waiting since THURSDAY to spill this one!

I HIT GOAL!!!!!

Funny story about that too. I had 1.4 until I hit my goal. So I went in, knowing that I had done my best. I stepped on the scale and was down only ONE pound. Not 1.4, but just 1. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but when it's goal, I was ticked!!!

I took off my watch, and it budged to 1.2.

They told me to go to the bathroom, but I didn't have to. But I went to the bathroom, and tried. When that didn't work, I took off my underwear. Stepped back on the scale, and was now down 1.6!!!! So it took some stripping, but I DID IT!!!! :)

I may stop for now. Maybe 5 or 6 pounds just as a cushion, but I think I'm done. No 190 for me. I'm happy and healthy at 210.

WOO HOO!!!!!

I don't weigh in until Tuesday. MY goal for the week is to maintain. But I wanted to congratulate you all.

blanq- No gain after a week at WDW is GREAT. You should be bouncing around.

PartyofSix- you'll be in those 12's before you know it. It's great to have them there as a reminder of a mini goal.

Dan!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
WAY TO GO!!! Where's your goal clippie??? I would have had that hours ago if I were you! And how could you keep this news from us for DAYS!!! (That's practically unforgivable!:p )

DAN!!!!!!!!!!!! You!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why did you wait until today to post this WONDERFUL accomplishment? :) CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is SOOOOOOOOOO funny that you took your undies off! Hee hee! I think I blushed reading that!

WOO-HOO!!!!!! You are awesome! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! How did you feel about hitting goal? Don't forget my PM, ok?

Dan,
That is FANTASTIC news! You must be so proud of yourself. Even though you're at goal, please keep posting here. You have really shown us that it CAN be done. Congratulations!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I haven't had a chance to weigh myself yet this week. However, after a brief divergence last Sunday, I'm back on track for Atkins. No cheating the rest of the week, and I'm still turning my test strips purple, so I must be doing ok.

:bounce: That's wonderful.
When I was lurking ;) I was so impressed with your story (well, I still am ;).....that's just when I read it)!
Congratulations!! You've worked mighty hard.
Wear that "goal" clippie with pride!!

Everyone else: Congratulations on your losses.........and any maintaining (I think that is a congradulatory step also) and if you gained.......keep on trying. You'll get there.

Me.....I weighed in yesterday. I knew it wouldn't be good. It was a bad week. Mother's Day. Overnight company, DD home from college.
And I didn't lose anything :(.......but I didn't gain anything eiither :) That made me happy (well losing would be better).
So back on track........and all these inspiring stories and accomplishmensts help me tremendously!!
Thank you all!!

Princess Michelle- We're glad you're here with us. Have a GREAT week, and check in often. And stay happy!! :D

MaMudduck- you're off to a great start! You'll be sporting that 10 pound clippie in no time now. Way to go!! :Pinkbounc

Sue- I love your great attitude! You're doing all the right things. I know that drinking water this week will chase the Bloat Fairy, if he's the one who's messing with your scales. We will definitely be celebrating for you next week. :)

NancyK- Look at you, getting all fit and firm and walking away those pounds! A 16 minute mile- I'm in awe. Bet you wouldn't have dreamed of doing that 30 pounds ago! I'll bet you're looking and feeling GREAT now. Good work, sweetie. Don't get used to that pretty clippie, because you'll be trading up soon!

Blanq- Woo-Hoo for you! Isn't it fun to be able to eat and play and party at WDW and not gain!?! 13 pounds gone, you're closing in on another clippie soon, too!

PartyofSix- Tammy, you're just amazing. I love hearing your enthusiasm and seeing your astounding results. You really are a shining example of what is possible, and you're one of the best cheerleaders and friends the rest of us WISHers could ever hope for! Another 3 pounds, and aiming for a size 12. It almost makes me cry tears of joy and excitement for you.

I want one of those beautiful 45 pound flippies like you have!! ;) I'll get there one of these days, dagnabbit.

SnackyStacky- Oh Dan, you have me laughing out loud at your weigh-in strategies! (Can I count that toward this week's excercise?) I can just picture the determination on your face as you figure out what you can take off! I guess the next step would be to carry the scale into the men's room and weigh completely au naturel!:p

At goal. Aren't those words beautiful? What a success story you are. Talented, sweet and kind, handsome, fit and healthy. You've got the whole package, sweetie. I'm just waiting for you to take the world by storm. Will you send autographs to all your old WISH buddies when you're rich and famous?

It looks like the WISH losers are off to a great start this week, and attacking the next one with happy determination. In the words of our sweet Katholyn, onward and downward!

Congratulations to All !!! I stayed the same this week, which is so much better than the "gain" I thought it might show. My next Curves measure day is in a week, so I'm going to be extra good this week :D

Holly, you know this is my very favorite WISH thread, well, except for the challenge thread (I love getting new members for my support group). I love to see you post this every week, truly look forward to seeing what progress everyone makes :)

MaMudduck Woo Hoo! 2.5 pounds gone forever. That’s 10 sticks of butter–very impressive. Good job this week.

You have almost earned that 10 pound loss clippie already. Doesn’t that make you smile? I hope you are proud of you progress, you are doing so well. I’m proud of you and so is everyone else, here on WISH.

You are working your way to goal and you are doing just great!

glo You have 20 minutes to get that sad smilie out of here. You know sad smilies are against the WISH posting guidelines. I’m telling ;)

Cheer up, sugar! You have done so well and come so far. You keep each and every one of us inspired and motivated. In fact, I want to be just like you when I grow up. I want to be a success like you have been.

Okay, smile, now. No sad smilies. You have a vacation coming up soon. You are going to have a ball! What? You didn’t read the fine print on your hopper pass? Well, it’s right there on the back: “ All WISHers are required to have a BALL at Walt Disney World..”

You are going to have fun, I promise :)

Sue & Co. Do you know what I just love about you? You didn’t give up! That is a very important accomplishment, did you know that?

This week is going to be much better for you, sweetie. Your WISH friends have jumped right in there with advice for you and you are on your way to goal, because you didn’t give up!

That is something to be proud of and I have to tell you that I am proud of you for not giving up. Good job!

Join us in chat at 7PM BST so that I can brag on you a little bit. You are so determined and motivated, I just would love to brag a teeny bit because you are part of my support group :)

NancyK Another two pounds gone forever. What a great feeling, huh?

How does it feel to be a success? That’s what you are, you know. You are a success and I am just so proud of you! You are reaching your weight goal and you are training for a marathon. What a great example you are for me. Way to go!

blanq I love your positive attitude. It’s rather easy to stay positive when you accomplish a goal and boy did you accomplish a goal this week. Imagine spending a week at WDW and maintaining your weight. Very impressive, sweetie. I’m so happy and proud for you.

What a wonderful example you are for me. I have set that same goal for myself for next week when I will be at WDW. The only problem I anticipate is the bloat fairy...I imagine that stinker will know exactly where to find me, even though I’m changing resorts after two days.

I am just proud of you, sweetie. You are keeping me motivated.

PartyofSix Holy cowabunga! Look at you go! Another three pounds gone forever, what a great feeling that must be.

Doesn’t it just make you smile? Doesn’t it just make you feel proud? You should feel proud you are a wonderful success at this weight loss stuff.

You are on your way to goal and kicking up dust. I’m so glad you are part of my support group. See how much you have motivated me today?

SnackyStacky I can’t believe you waited so long to announce you reached goal!! I would have popped, wouldn’t have made it :teeth:

I am so proud of you, Dan. You have reached goal, what a wonderful and happy accomplishment. I’m so proud of you.

So HA!! to those teacups, you will never fill one up again. You are at goal, my goodness, why aren’t you bouncing around? Are you too shy to bounce with joy? I’m not one bit shy :teeth:

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Hey, hold the phone! Everybody out of the pool! Wait a minute....where is your goal clipart? I would have had that baby in my siggie so fast it would have made Pete Werner dizzy.

Go get that goal clipart and wear it proudly. You earned it, you worked hard and you succeeded and we are all just so proud of you.

Promise that you will stay with us on WISH. I know that your shining example keeps me motivated and determined to reach my goal. Way to go, my friend.

This is just so exciting!!!

PadisMOM Setting a goal to maintain your weight is an admirable goal. I’ll bet you do just fine maintaining.

See how you have motivated me? I want to maintain my weight at WDW next week. I’m going to do that too. I’m glad you are part of my support group.

GarrettJD If you are still in ketosis you didn’t do any damage, at all. That’s quite an accomplishment--that tells me that you are so determined and motivated that you must have subconciously controlled your intake of refined carbohydrates. Way to go! I’m really proud of you and I hope you are feeling proud of yourself too.

Meriweather I’m sure glad you added that happy smilie about maintaining your weight this past week. I’m still all worn out for celebrating Dan reaching goal, I don’t think I would have the energy to celebrate your accomplishment.

You know how I feel about maintaining your weight, I think it’s great! It proves that you have made some of your good habits permanent, you stayed in control and you have proven that when you have lost all the weight you want to lose you will be able to keep it off.

Way to go, sweetie! Doesn’t that just make you want to stand tall and be proud of yourself. All of your WISH friends are proud of you, especially me.

Nancy, I am so tickled that you decided to delurk and join in with the fun of WISH. You are a great example for me.

KayleeUK Way to go!!! Look at how well you are doing! Another 1.5 pounds gone forever. You are focused, on track and heading for goal. AND you have a wonderfully positive attitude about the whole thing. What a great example you are for me.

I love to see you celebrate your success, you make me smile and you make me feel proud. I sure hope you feel proud of yourself!

maryliz Oh come on. You can do better than that, you maintained your weight this past week. Don’t you see how great that is? You faced challenges but you overcame them and you didn’t gain even one ounce!

I happen to think that is an accomplishment, sweetie. I happen to think that proving that you are going to be able to keep from gaining back the weight you lose is a great accomplishment. That is progress. That is something that should make you feel proud. Are you feeling proud? I sure hope so because I am proud of you.

Oh sure, I know that maintaining isn’t as much fun as losing but it about a kajillion more times as much fun as gaining. Good job! You are headed for goal and you just proved to yourself that when you get there, you can stay there. Great feeling, isn’t it?

I love watching my WISH friends travel along the road to goal. It’s just so motivating and inspirational for me.

If you lost even one ounce this past week, congratulations! If you maintained your weight, celebrate that as a success because that is surely a triumph.

If you reached goal this past week....CELEBRATE YOUR LITTLE SOCKS OFF!!!!! I’m just so proud of you all.

Onward and downward my friends you are on your way to goal and you are so successful that you make me beam with pride.

Katholyn

Three more pounds gone forever this week. My total loss is now at 20 pounds!!!! I am so excited. 20 pounds really feels like a milestone. :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

With this loss I am now in a new point range on WW. I have really found myself not hitting my top number very much lately so hopefully it will be an easy adjustment to make. I now also need to make a few more short term goals. :)

I really can't thank everyone here enough for your support and encouragment. I love hanging out with such a great group of losers!!! :teeth:

I'm proud of all you losers!:D
I have not changed, still at 144, but considering the last two weeks I've had, I consider that a victory!
My % of body fat is down slightly, so that's a good thing!
