WISH Check in Week of June 1

Hi!
I lost .8 this week! Four pounds till I go to a lower points range :)
Where do you get the dancing banana/carrot?
GReat work everyone!! We can do it!!

Lost one pound!! :)

So that's 3 since joining WISH and 14 total!

Yippe.. ( I really am jumping inside, but it's late and I'm tired!)

Kathi

Still maintaining. I made a commitment to exercise every day in the month of June.

I had some negative remarks about my weight at the birthday party I co-hosted on Saturday. It is hard for some to realize that I am still the same person - regardless of size.

Keep losing, exercising or maintaining everyone.

Good Morning Everyone!

Congratulations to all the losers and maintainers this week - Way to go!

I lost 2 lbs this week for a total of 10 since joining wish on 5/10, and a total of 20 since becoming a diva on 4/23. Only 35 to go now!

Now I have to go get my new clippie - HOORAY!

Have a great week everybody!

-Mary Rose, the diet diva

Ok, I have been really inconsistent with my WI day, with mini-goal, scheduling, etc. I have decided to move my WI day to Wed in hopes that works with my schedule over the summer.

In the past two weeks I had fluctuate some but shown a .5 lb loss, but didn't claim it last week with my WI day being off. Today I weighed in at 142; which is a pound loss since my last official check-in (probably two weeks ago)

YEA!!! I'll take another pound! yippppeeeee!!

I never thought I'd ever get in the low 140s again, and now I need to get refocused and serious as the 130s are close!!! 3 more lbs till new clippied that I have set a mini-goal for by July 4 :teeth:

I'm just thrilled to say that I was pleasantly surprised to have lost 1.5 lbs this week!!! Didn't think it was in the picture - OhMom was visiting this past weekend and we didn't really overindulge - but let's just say we enjoyed the baby shower we hosted. I'd love to tell you about the scrumptious petit fours we served, but my pm buddies are just sick of hearing about them!

So anyway, I have totally reduced myself by 20.5 lbs!!!! I like it when there is less of me - it feels like a good thing!!!

And, I think that my new 20 lb clippie is just the thing for making me realize I am really doing this - who would have ever guessed that me - yes- me - could do it!!

Hooray and when TigH gets back she will get to see my new outfit, too! (You see she expected me to have this and she does have great influence - no matter where she is!) And of course, many thanks for all the encouragement from all my pm buds as it is their everyday support that keeps me in this particular game!!

My week has been very hectic and I've DISing in between budgeting (not fun let me tell ya). I was a bit concerned when I stepped on the scale last Sunday morning because it showed a bit of a gain but I got on on Monday and I was at the same as last week. I didn't gain and I didn't lose. Aunt Flo comes for her monthly visit tomorrow and usually the week before and the week of are not pleasant for me so I'm assuming that's some of it because I wasn't that bad this week (haven't had much time to be). I can feel the bloating in my stomach last night when I did some shopping.....so next week I know won't be good.

I do have a question - if I gain and fall out of my 10 pounds lost - do I give up my clipart to the 5# one? I won't gain 5 pounds but I might gain about 3 (that's about how much I usually gain) and then the next week it will be right off again. I just wasn't sure what the proper way was for the clippie and I don't want to cheat!!!!! Thanks

Slow and steady going here. Lost one lb this week..total since joining y'all here is 4.6 in 3 weeks. So close to that 5lb clippie..hoping next week!! TTFN!

Well, it's my own fault. I didn't keep my journal this week and even though I went bike riding more I TOTALLY picked-picked-picked yesterday. And I wasn't picking on good things :o

Well, next week is another weigh in! On a good note, I've narrowed down which 5K I'm going to sign up for to 3... so once I decide which one I'm running THAT will be GREAT motivation!! :)

Hi all,

This week I am down 3lbs - for a total of 13.6lbs - I really wanted to reach the 20lb mark before I went to WDW on June 22 - but I am still thrilled that the weight is going DOWN!! - I know if it wasn't for this board I would not still be on program!

So to everyone

THANKS!:D

This is my first time weighing in. After one week on Weight Watchers I am thrilled to report that I have lost 3 pounds!!!

:D :D :D

Mish19 Way to go! That's practically a whole pound, gone forever. I'm glad to see that you appreciate the progress you made this week. Losing weight slowly helps to insure that we will have less chance to gain it back after we have lost all we want to lose.

Good job, this week, Michelle. Are you feeling proud of yourself? I hope so. We're all proud of you.

KathiWithAnI As long as you are bouncing somewhere is all I ask ;)

WOO HOO!!! Good job. Another pound gone forever. You are definitely working your way toward goal. Isn't it a great feeling to realize you are successful at this weight loss stuff?

Be proud of yourself, cutie. I'm proud of you!

Tink33 What kind of negative remarks? They think you are too thin or not thin enough? Do I hear the footsteps of that California green eyed monster?

Ignore them. What do they know? All of your WISH friends think you have done a wonderful job and you know how wise all of us are. We say ignore those grouches ;)

I'll bet you keep that committment to exercise, this month, Lesley. You are such a determined person and I know you will succeed at this new goal.

I am just so tickled that you are maintaining your weight and still check in on us, here on WISH. Having a WISH friend at goal is very helpful and motivating for me. Keep up your good work, cutie, you are doing great!

O'BWV Thank goodness you threw in that "hooray".

Another two pounds gone forever. Personally, I would be bouncing with joy all over the place but you are much classier than me, you have that little basic black "hooray", instead ;)

I love your new clipart, very attractive and flattering. You are doing just great. Your success helps keep me determined and motivated. I'm proud of you--I hope that you are proud too.

ohMom Way to go! Good job. Another pound gone forever and you are only three pounds away from a new clipart. You are just doing so well, isn't it a great feeling? You are on your way to goal and approaching it at a steady pace. I'm so happy and proud for you.

You are an important part of my support group, you have a wonderfully positive attitude. You keep me beaming with pride. I hope you are feeling proud of yourself!

AlreadyexcitedGrammy You ate petits fours and you still lost 1.5 pounds? That's not against the rules? Are you sure?

Well, okay, if you say so. Another 1.5 pounds are gone forever. What a wonderful success you are. You are really good at this weight loss stuff.

Isn't that new clippie just gorgeous? It looks great on you. I'm really proud of you for sticking with this and sharing your success with us. It helps me to see my WISH friends succeed. It proves to me that I will succeed too.

I knew that you could do this all along. Never doubted it for a minute. You are just too determined and motivated to not succeed. Don't get too attached to that new clippie of yours, you know as well as I do that you will be trading up again soon.

December99 Okay, first of all...it's good that you maintained your weight despite impending TOM. I'll bet that you actually lost but are retaining fluid. (grrr...that stinking bloat fairy! )

Now, you and I need to have little talk, Christine:

next week I know won't be good.

I need you to explain more about that. Seriously. Do you mean that you expect to gain fluid or maintain your weight again? Or do you mean that you know you will be off plan next week? Because if you mean that latter, you need to get yourself a plan.

Plan for success and you will achieve it. Perhaps not on your timeline but you will still succeed. I know you can do this sweetie. Look at how well you have done so far! Hang in there and come here to WISH if you need help next week. You know that we are always here if you need to talk. You know that we care. Come to your support group and we will help you out.

You never give up your clipart. You earned it and you get to keep it. Is that a deal? If you earned a paycheck for working one week and then didn't work the next week, would you think you should give back the salary for that first week? I don't think so. You are a success, you earned a 10 pound loss clipart and it is all yours to keep. I imagine you will be trading up again in a couple of weeks, though :teeth:

I'm anxious to see how you do after next week. I'll bet you show a good loss. After all, you maintained this past week and biologically speaking you ordinarily would have gained, I think that is a very good sign. Be proud of yourself, you are doing just great, sweetie.

flbeachbum WOOHOO!!! Another pound gone forever. You sure are calm about that, I would be jumping all over the place if I had lost a pound. I'm pretty impressed with you, you are definitely a success at this weight loss stuff.

Aren't you proud of yourself? I'm proud of you. Just think less than one half pound more to lose and you will have a new clipart. That's exciting. Good job this week.

jenny2 HOLD IT! Is that a sad smilie? I'm sorry sweetie--no sad smilies allowed on WISH. It's against the rules.

We both know you didn't "pick" enough to gain a real 1/2 pound. Sounds to me like the bloat fairy has been to your house. Probably encouraged to visit by all of that picking you did. But the good thing about this is that you learned something from this teeny gain. You learned that you need to journal your intake everyday.

I just love finding the silver lining in situations like this. If you learned something last week then that calls for a grin or a smile, anything but a sad smilie.

Besides, we don't concern ourselves with what happened yesterday. We only worry about right now and right now you are determined and motivated and back on track. You're doing fine. I'll bet you show a loss next weigh in.

Be proud of yourself! You learned a valuable lesson this week and I'm proud of you.

yasuern Okay, now wait a minute. Let's back up a little. You had a terrific weight loss this past week but you aren't celebrating at all. In fact....you are sort of saying that this loss isn't a good thing because you aren't going to make the goal you set a timeline for. That's sort of a downer, don't you think? While you say you are thrilled with your loss you don't really seem to be.

So......let's try it this way:

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: WOOHOO!!! yasuern lost 3 whole pounds this week. That's 12 sticks of butter--60 slices of bacon--that is success :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Yep, I like that better. How about you? You need to appreciate your success and celebrate a little. Don't you know how empowering your success is for your fellow WISHers? Your success helps keep us motivated and determined, so celebrate when you get the chance. If nothing else a good celebration makes me smile. We all need to smile, you know. Now, I'm really proud of you for losing 3 whole pounds this past week. You need to be proud of yourself. You are doing great!

WISH is just the greatest place, isn't it?
Today is my weigh in day. I am happy to report that ten pounds of that fluid left with me by the bloat fairy is gone. Only two pounds remaining, isn't that great?

I really love reading about the progress my WISH friends make each week. If you lost even one ounce, congratulations. If you gained anything, don't give up, those pounds will go away, just keep working as diligently as you have been working. If you maintained your weight, congratulations and WOO HOO! That is a very good sign that you will be able to keep your weight off when you have lost all you want to lose.

Onward and downward, my friends. We are all on our way to goal and nothing is going to stop us. Thanks for being here to help me along the road to goal, I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Katholyn

Well, I finally got the gumption to get on the scale, and I am up 2lbs!

Not surprising, as I have been running pretty crazy this week, and "forgetting" to update on fitday. I haven't cheated too badly, just had too much caffeine and atkins bars, and not enough water.....

Back on induction starting now, and back on fitday in the morning!

On the plus side, I went in the pool at the today, and my bathing suit was too big, time to go shopping!

:)

Samantha

I checked it with the doctors scales. So I don't have to buy a new one.....So that also means I'm down 1 pound this week.:)

I'm still off a little for my 10lb. clippie, but I'm also about to break a final weight barrier. (You know the one that you get down & then bounce up, then down & up......)

Tink33- If I could have heard them say that about you, I would have slapped them in the face for you! People like that make me so mad. You've done great getting to goal weight!

I did get the measuring tape out Katholyn, and I also found some old (2 yrs ago) measurements and I'm down from those! :Pinkbounc

Going down (lbs) & trading up (clippies)
Wendy

Well I am down 1.5 lbs this week. I'll take that. I have been trying to push myself a little harder at Curves this week to try and get that scale to budge a little more and also I want to win the Curves challenge for June. I am thinking positive and trying very hard to not give into temptations. I have stuck to my WW journal and will continue to, because if I don't I seem to forget what I eat and eat more.

Congrats to all loosers and to the gainers because just being here means we are trying and will succeed.

Lyn

Congrats to all of the "losers", encouragement for all the newbies, and hang in there for those struggling!

I am doing rather well. (thanks to Jody and my cheat free star!) I lost 4.2#!!!!! It was funny because when the lady told me, I could hardly believe it, as I was only serious for the past 2 days. She was surprised at my reaction, (I barely had one:rolleyes: ), I think it was just shock! I have eaten my points for the day, so I just need to make it to bed and I will have day #3 done as well!

told you so...............knew it would happen!!!!!!!! Yipppeeee!! Keep it up - you can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Beth E. (NJ) When did you sneak in here? I could have sworn your check-in wasn't there when I posted earlier

WOO HOO!!! Way to go, cutie. Losing 3 pounds the first week is great progress! You are on your way to goal and you're doing great.

Good job! I sure hope you are proud of yourself, I'm sure proud of you. Keep it up and you will be at goal in no time at all.

MontyMontyMOnty So the bloat fairy has been to your house too? Wicked little critter, huh?

No worries, sweetie. You are back on track and focused on your goal. You will drop those two pounds and more, next week. Honest.

Don't give up. Eating too many Atkins bars isn't an unforgiveable sin, you know. You have identified the problem and you are taking steps to correct it. I'm really proud of you.

MaMudduck WOO HOOO!!! Way to go, gorgeous. You have lost another pound and you have lost inches too. That's what all of this effort is about, getting smaller. You are doing great!

Doesn't it just make you feel proud of yourself? It should, you are getting smaller and you are on your way to goal. I'm certainly proud of you.

Keep on keeping on, sweetie. You are tearing up the road to goal and your success helps keep us all motivated.

disneyeveryyear WOWOWOWOWOW!!!! So you lost three pounds in one week and 10 pounds altogether? That is awesome progress. You earned a new clippie, too.

It really looks good on you. You are just doing so well at this weight loss stuff. You have a positive attitude, too, and that is very helpful to us all.

Good job this week, sweetie. I'm really proud of you.

lynr You are working hard and it shows. Another 1.5 pounds are gone forever. Way to go!

Your determination is just shining through your words. What a wonderfully positive thing. I'm so glad that you are part of my support group. Your positive attitude just keeps me smiling.

PRINCESS VIJA Look at you. Another 4.2 pounds gone forever. You are just tearing up that road to goal, aren't you?

You are on your way now. I love your renewed enthusiasm and determination. Very inspiring. I'm proud of you, sugar, keep it up, you're doing great!

Katholyn

Well here's some bouncing for you!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

But then you knew all along this would happen, cause you got the "faith" :D :D
