WISh Check-in week of July 20

I did a bit of experimenting with some of the different Atkins products and that seemed to slow things down for me, I'll just have to learn to say no to that chocolate craving.

Cheryl N. WI - I didn't really care for the Atkins products too much (I really don't like the aftertaste of the Splenda) but I found a low carb chocolate bar that's very good. It's De-Light and I got it at GNC - actually I got a whole box (well, they WERE on sale;) ) I like the dark chocolate one which tastes to me just like Hershey's dark chocolate miniatures. I think it's 2 carbs per bar for the dark, but I'm not positive. Anyway, most of the time just a small piece is enough to satisfy that urge because the dark choc is somewhat richer (IMHO.) Try them out!

Okay, despite my best intentions I got behind with the check in thread again.

I decided that I'm going to post a few at a time instead of all at the end, this week.

I'll be posting again later, so don't think I've skipped you or I'm ignoring you, because I'm not.

DaddyDon WOO HOO!!! You are doing so well. Losing 3 pounds in two weeks is just excellent. You are just racing down that road to goal. WOW!

You won't be losing so quickly every week but it sure is motivating to lose 14 pounds in just two weeks isn't it? Keep this up and you will be a goal before you know it. You are only one pound away from that 15 pound loss clipart. Bet you have it next week.

Don't forget to measure yourself, too. It's a very important part of seeing your progress. Sometimes we lose inches instead of pounds. So be sure and take your measurements.

I'm just so happy and proud for you.

Tiggerkeeper Way to go!!! 5 pounds gone forever, how great!

Have a wonderful time at Myrtle Beach but hurry back to WISH, you know that we miss you when you are gone.

bliss4us Having the best plan for your needs is most of the battle and it sounds like you have found the perfect plan for yourself. That's great!

You've lost 6 pounds since taking the challenge? Don't you want to add that pretty 5 pound loss clipart to your signature? You've earned it!

I sure hope you are feeling proud of yourself, I'm sure feeling proud of you.

honeymo78 Look at you! You are a success! Doesn't it feel great to see results from your new healthy life style? Losing 4 pounds in one week is just terrific.

Be proud of yourself, all of your WISH friends are proud of you.

Harambe I'm so proud of you for posting here even though you didn't really want to do it. You couldn't have done as badly as you thought if you didn't gain. Maintaining your weight is a lot more fun than gaining, isn't it?

I think you've earned yourself a fancy new scale. Why don't you get a new scale that is easier to read and more accurate, I think you've earned it.

You are back on track and newly motivated now, you're going to do just great.

Beastlover You lost one whole pound this past week, right? Then why aren't you celebrating your success? You need to celebrate your successes every chance you get it's very motivating. Like this:

WOO GOO!!!! I lost one whole pound this month!!! :bounce: :bounce:

Isn't that better? You are a WISH success, sweetie. Be proud of yourself.

PamCo88 Look at you! You have a wonderfully positive attitude. That's just so very helpful, isn't it? In fact, it is so important to success. Keep that great attitude and you will be at goal before you know it.

Losing a pound in one week is progress and you are doing great. Stand up tall and be proud of yourself, I'm certainly proud of you.

Jomrog WOO HOO!!!! Way to go, sweetie! Another 1.5 pounds gone forever and you have earned that gorgeous 15 pound loss clippie. You are doing a great job getting healthy.

I'm just so happy and proud for you, be proud of yourself.

MontyMontyMOnty You are doing great at not gaining too much so far, Samantha. You are so determined to have a healthy pregnancy and I'm proud of you.

We still need to figure out what to do about that project of ours. We need to get together to discuss it. I'll send you my phone number by pm or you can send me yours so we can talk, okay?

tiggereyore If you lose .5 pound a week for a year you will have lost 26 pounds altogether. That's progress especially when you had a few oopsies during your camping trip. That is excellent, sweetie.

Don't you just feel proud? You did great and I'm proud of you. You are on your way to goal for sure.

CrzyforPiglet Good job! WOW, another pound gone forever. You are doing so well with this new healthy lifestyle of yours.

Wasn't that meet just magical? You looked really good and I'm so glad I finally got to meet you in person. Cyber {{{HUGS}}} are great but I love getting real live {{{HUGS}}} better. I'll bet you reach your goal before your trip. You are just so determined, I have no doubt you will succeed.

I'm really proud of you cutie, you are doing great!

Lisa96 Love your positive attitude. Planning special indulgences is very wise. Did the dim sum knock you out of ketosis? You'll be right back after a few days of induction, don't worry about it.

I would be so happy to lose 3.5 pounds in one week. Good for you! I'm really proud of you for planning an indulgence then not allowing that one incident to take you completely off track. You are just so wise and a wonderful example for me.

becka {{{HUGS}}} sweetie. I think we've all had difficult times like this--we need to help you come up with a plan to deal with those TOM cravings. What do you think? Any ideas? I don't know a lot about WW or I would offer advice.

Hang in there. I'm proud of you for checking in this week, even though you weren't happy with your progress. You can do this sweetie, we just need to come up with an emergency plan for you.

travel with kids So you maintained your weight this past week? That's a very good sign, you know. It means that you will be able to keep your weight off when you have lost all you want to lose. Excellent! Not as much fun as losing, though, huh?

You are very determined, I can tell, you wouldn't have posted to the check in thread if you weren't. That is another very good sign. Keep that positive attitude and you will reach your goal. I'm proud of you for being so determined. You will show a loss next week, I'll bet.

NativeTXN,
I know I'm not the only one to feel that your cheerleading is such an enormous help! Even when you're going over the achievements of other WISHers I feel inspired by your words. And when I get singled out - WOW, it's like getting a gold star on my forehead!!!:p Thanks so much for all your encouragement - YOU should be very proud of yourself.

Lisa, my WISH friends keep me motivated and on track. I learn a lot from reading about everyone's progress each week. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful support group.

You have earned a gold star, sweetie. You are doing great.

Now, I promised I would be back. I still haven't finished with all of my responses but I'm doing my best. I'll bet I get caught up soon.

jtbdas Well, you are very calm for someone who lost 3 pounds in one week. I would be just tickled about something like that.

You are going to get back to where you started and lose even more. With your positive attitude that is the only outcome possible. You are doing great and you sound so determined. I'm really glad you are part of my support group, you help keep me determined, too.

Debbie Excellent progress! Slow and steady wins the race. As you know, the more slowly you lose your weight the better chance you have of keeping it off. Another 1.2 pound is gone forever. I think you're doing great!

You are such a positive presence on WISH, sweetie. So determined and so positive. I really appreciate you and I'm proud of you, too.

minnieandmickey WOO HOO!!! 5 pounds gone forever! EXCELLENT!

Don't let the food choices get monotonous, eat breakfast for lunch and supper for breakfast. Switch your meals around and it helps. Have you tried melting mozzarella cheese on pepperoni slices? Very yummy, rather a little bit like pizza :)

Are there foods you just don't like to eat? Aren't I nosy? I'm just trying to think of a way to help out with that monotony thing ;-). Be sure and eat when you feel hungry. I will slice unpeeled cucumbers and cover with spreadable cheese for a snack--it's crunchy and makes you feel like you've "eaten". Works for me, at any rate.

Hang in there, you're doing great. We just need to learn to use our imaginations to keep from getting bored from our choices during the first two weeks. I'm proud of you for sticking with induction even though you aren't thrilled with the foods you are allowed.

Poly Pal WOW! You lost two pounds and it was a "rough food week?" Excellent. What a success you are!

I hope you are feeling proud of yourself, I'm sure proud of you. You are doing great. Just imagine how much you will lose when you aren't having a "rough food week". You are on your way to goal for sure!

Now....where is your member clipart? You aren't ashamed of us are you?

firecracker WOO HOOOOO!!!!!!! WOW! 7 pounds in 8 days, gone forever, never to be seen again. Very impressive. Don't you just feel proud of yourself? Look how well you are doing. All of your WISH friends are proud of you.

Keep this up and you will be at goal before you know it. You are a wonderful example for us all. Good job! Do you need some help adding the 5 pound loss clipart? Let me know.

EpcotKilterFan You are doing very well. You should start posting to the check in thread more often. You will help keep me motivated. I notice you don't have the WISH clipart, it is exempt from the clipart guidelines you know, you wouldn't have to give up your other cliparts. You have almost earned the 15 pound loss clipart. I would be so proud.

Debbie, you are such a success. Losing 54 pounds altogether is awesome and I think you are a great addition to my support group. You are a shining example for me. Be proud of yourself. You are a success and I'm proud of you!

geetey Holy cowabunga! You lost .5 pounds during a trip to WDW? You are my hero!

You had just better be feeling proud of yourself for this wonderful accomplishment. I would feel silly if I was feeling proud of you and you weren't. What a great example and motivator you are for me. Yes, I'm selfish, see how I'm always thinking about myself.

MelanieC Look at you! You are such a success, losing almost two pounds despite TOM. Excellent progress!

I love your enthusiasm and positive outlook. That attitude is going to smoothyour way to success, sweetie. You keep this up and you will be at goal before you know it. I'm so proud of you, be proud of yourself!

perfectmatch300 Look at you go! You are making wonderful progress, Nancy. Another two pounds gone forever--isn't it just the greatest feeling to see your hard work pay off? Aren't you just proud of yourself? I'm so happy and proud for you, I'm sitting here typing with a huge grin. My dog is looking at me like I'm weird or something. I don't care, I'm just happy for you. I know you were getting frustrated with your previous eating plan, I'm thrilled that you have found something that is working better for you.

Keep it up, you're doing great! {{{HUGS}}}

Sue & Co. You aren't one bit excited, huh? You lost a whole pound in one week, sweetie. Are you at least feeling proud of yourself? I hope so, I'm feeling proud of you.

Good job this week. You are making steady progress and you are on your way to goal.

Claire4dpins Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT!!!!! Way to go! Another pound gone forever and one whole stone. I'm so excited for you and very proud. I can tell you are feeling proud of yourself, too, that is perfect.

You are a WISH success story and a wonderful example for me, thank you!

wdwnutze WOO HOOO!!!!!! Look at you go! Another 2.5 pounds gone forever and you've almost earned that 30 pound loss clipart. How exciting. You are really doing well with your new and healthy lifestyle.

Be proud of yourself, all of your WISH pals are sure feeling proud of you.

mishoe01 Uh oh....did you say that you only lost .6 pounds this week? Only??? Sorry, that won't do. Don't you realize what you have accomplished? You lost 60% of one whole pound. That is progress, sweetie. That is success! Don't believe me? You don't? That is the equivalent of more than two sticks of butter. Do you realize that if you lose .6 pounds a week you will have lost 2.4 pounds in one month...that's 31.2 pounds in one year?

I think you need to be appreciating what a great job you did this past week. Celebrate your successes, no matter how small, success is success. You're doing great. Be proud of yourself, we're all proud of you--you are on your way to goal. Good job this week.

msteddom Another pound gone forever! Way to go. You are making steady progress.

I'm actually pretty nervous

I know that your past history of reaching a plateau and giving up makes you feel unsure of yourself, I can understand that, I would probably feel the same way. I think you are forgetting something, though. All of those other times? When you gave up? You weren't a WISHer, then, were you? Well, you're a WISHer now. You aren't going to be giving up now, even if you do hit a plateau. You will keep on keeping on and you will succeed. Every single one of your WISH friends plan to help you do that, your new positive attitude is going to help you do that. You are going to succeed. Never forget that, okay? You have got what it takes to succeed plus you've got WISH. Visit us everyday and we will share our strength if you are feeling less than strong, we will share our smiles if you are feeling less than happy and we will continue to share our hearts with you because you are a WISHer now and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Be brave and be proud, you are on your way to goal!

raven3517 *sigh*....don't say only....losing 1/2 pound is progress. It's sure better than gaining 1/2 pound don't you think? I think you're doing great.

I'm so pleased that you are feeling proud of yourself for going to Curves and working out because I'm sure feeling proud of you. Now, you need to come up with a plan for dealing with those housesitting assignments in the future. Either take legal foods or ask the home owner to have legal foods available for you. You will avoid not losing as much as you hope next time, if you do that.

Hang in there, I think you are doing a wonderful job!

Well I gained .4 this week. I deserved it! The pizza, breadsticks, ice cream & cookie from 1 1/2 weeks ago caught up with me!!! I would feel bad about the gain but I know I deserved it!

This puts me .2 under 45 lbs. but I'm keeping my clippie because I hope to have a good week and get it right back off!

WOOHOO, Losers!!

Another 2 pounds gone for me!! Updated my clippie. Going into a tough weekend...camping, Hershey Park. I'm going to enjoy myself and take the consequences!! It'll be the beer that gets me!

But I am in the mood to celebrate!!!

Is it time to check in already? I gained 2 pounds! I'm not depressed - I know why it happened (it's all my kids fault) and I know how to fix it (selling three kids-cheap).

Just Jokin'! Much as I'd like to blame someone else, I can't. I wanted those cookies, darnit! I tried making some Atkin's almond cookies and they were gross but I ate them all anyway. 4 carbs per and I ate 10 or so. Hey, they were small!

I think I really need to get back on induction for a week or two and drop another five before I start getting creative.

This week I am grateful for my sanity - if I lose that we're all in trouble!

I almost didn't post this morning because I am so discouraged - after 3 weeks I have lost 2 pounds...gained the 2 pounds back ..and this morning - gained 2 more pounds!! I guess my plan to "cut down without a plan" is not working - I thought I was doing so well- doing my WATP 3x week..drinking more water - cutting way back on sweets and snacks....now I don't know what to eat at all. And my tummy is growling.
I did get a PM Buddy who has offered to walk me thru WW with her - trying to stay positive - please send good thoughts.

Paula,

It's so hard to lose weight without a real plan, especially after we get into our thirtys and beyond. Please don't get discouraged but do get some kind of a plan. When I first joined WISH, I was just going to "watch it" and lose that extra 17 pounds. Well, that didn't work and I got very down and Katholyn had to give me a loving smackdown ;) . I decided to try Atkins and like it very much and have lost 9 of those 17 pounds (ok - I gained back 2 this week but not for long :p ). WISH is a great place to come for encouragement and ideas so don't you dare skip those weekly posts!!:) :) :)

Audrey,
Thanks so much for the words of encouragement- I am trying very hard to just "get over" today and let tomorrow be a better day. I nowhave a WISH buddy who is willing to talk me thru WW with her - I am hoping that will help.

Thanks again......

Hang in there YOU can do it!!!!:sunny: :earsboy: Have a plan and try to stick with it, Atkins is working for me and my wife ! Find a plan that will work with your needs:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: and no more growling tummy!!!! We are all here to help if we can.

Well, I weighed in 1 week ago at 168 and today I fell to 165. I am happy. Slow but sure I will make it.

I'm a few days late in posting because we were hit by a high wind storm and small tornado Monday afternoon. We haven't had electricity from Mon. at 3:30 PM until tonight at 6:00 PM.

That means I've had no treadmill. That's almost as hard for me as no TV. (seriously!)

But, I was down 2 lbs on Tuesday. My total is now 21 lbs!!!!
:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I started journaling seriously last week and it has really helped.

Now I have to go get my 20 lb clippie Woo-Hoo!!!

Congratualtions to all you other losers. And to the gainers- Don't give up. Failure is not an option!!

I told you I'd be back :teeth:

Dimplenose Now that is an excellent attitude! I'm chuffed on your behalf sweetie. You are doing so well. Another two pounds gone forever. You're making better choices and losing weight, you are such a wonderful success!

I'm so happy and proud for you. Keep it up, you are on your way to goal and I'm staying motivated myself just watching you get there.

Zoo Keeper WOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!! Look at you go! You are just tearing up that road to goal. Losing 3.5 pounds in one week is excellent progress and wonderful success. You are a terrific role model for me, sweetie.

I love your enthusiasm and terrific positive attitude. You have a pretty great winning attitude, cutie. I'm proud of you!

Snow White Excellent! How does it feel to be a success? Are you feeling proud? You'd better be, I'm sure proud of you. Losing 33 pounds in terrific progress. How much have you lost since taking the WISH challenge? Have you earned a new clipart yet?

I noticed that you were missing from WISH. I was beginning to get worried about you, I'm so glad to see you back with us today. Please don't stay away so long, I miss you when you aren't around. You are an important part of my support group.

Great job this week you are on your way to goal and nothing is going to stop you now.

lmhall2000 HOLY COWABUNGA!!!! You are just tearing up that road to goal, aren't you? Look at what a great job you are doing with your new and healthy lifestyle. Don't you just feel extra proud of yourself, this week? Not only did you lose another 4 pounds forever but you ran a mile today! I'm so happy and proud of you sweetie. You are a wonderful and shining example for me and a true motivation.

I sure hope you reach onederland next week. I don't doubt that you will succeed, look how successful you have been already!

disnygoof Another 2.6 pounds gone forever? You are doing a fantastic job! How does it feel to be a success?

I hope you are feeling proud of yourself. All of your WISH friends are proud of you, especially me. Keep it up, you are definitely on your way to goal. You will have that 15 pound loss clipart very, very soon. I'm sure of it.

Tink33 Hi sweetie! I'm so glad you checked in this week. I'm not one bit surprised that you are under goal weight, you are just too motivated and determined to allow the scale to move in the other direction.

Remember how proud we all are of you when you glide into that reunion looking stunning and svelte. Have a ball!

lisajl I think it will be very helpful for your husband to also begin eating sensibly. I'm not sure if you follow a formal eating plan already but if you do not, you might want to consider trying that, sometimes just a little added structure to our eating plan makes a big difference. Just something to think about.

If you've been working out at Curves regularly then there is a good chance that you are replacing fat with muscle and I'm sure you know that muscle weighs more than fat. That is a good thing :)

Hang in there. You maintained your weight this past week and that is a good thing, so much more fun than gaining, isn't it? I'll bet you show a loss next week. {{{HUGS}}}

Cheryl N. WI You ate popcorn and you still lost a pound? Awesome! You are doing a great job. I know that I had to stop eating the low carb chocolate for a while because it seemed to slow my loss. Carbolite makes a wonderful dark chocolate but I only eat a bar a week now instead of a bar a day :-)

Start working on your plan for your trip. Have you made a plan for those picnics and your trip to see your sister? You know, your sister might want to try to make some low carb muffins, they are really good and she might even find other Atkins people who would buy them from her.

Good luck with the picnics and your trip. Don't obsess over food, just make the best choices you can. Have lots and lots of fun, especially when you visit your sister. Life is so short, we need to enjoy every minute. We just need to learn to not make food the focus of our joy :-)

DISNEYFANRI *gasp* Is that a mad smilie? YIKES! Come on sweetie. Don't be so discouraged. You just learned something very important about yourself. A very valuable something: you need structure. I need structure too. Most people do need more structure to lose weight. So, now you know.

One of the most important factors in successful weight loss is having a plan that is best for you. Find that plan and you will be on your way to goal. Whether it is WW, Atkins or Low Fat or some combination, doesn't matter....it just needs to "fit" you.

The really neat thing is that no matter what plan you choose, you will have the WISH support group standing beside you, always ready to help--and we care.

So! Stand up straight, put a smile on that sweet face of yours and be proud of yourself. You have learned a valuable lesson and are taking measures to correct the problem. You are doing great and I'm really proud of you.

elisebutt Well, look at you. Major cheating going on and you still lost a pound. Did the rice knock you out of ketosis? Well you'll get right back in. I wouldn't tempt fate too often with that Thai food though ;)

You are doing a great job working your way to goal. I'll bet if you avoid the rice and prawn crackers this week you will lose even more by next weigh in. Keep it up!

ohMom Well, you know....I understand that partying hearty can cause weight gain ;-) Actually, I imagine that pound is simply a little fluid and will be gone soon, I just hope the BF doesn't send it my way

You're doing fine. You look really good, you couldn't have too much more weight to lose. You will reach your goal. You're a WISHer, sweetie. Success is your only option ;)

O'BWV WOW! Look at that gorgeous new clippie! Another 1.5 pounds gone forever and a new clipart. Look how great you are doing. Doesn't it just make you feel proud to see evidence of your success? I'm sure proud of you. You are doing a great job!

Keep this up and you will be at goal in no time at all.

campingcorgi Look at you go! You are really doing well with your WW healthy eating plan. Another 2.6 pounds gone forever. What a wonderful success you are.

I love your wonderfully positive attitude. That attitude is going to help you reach your goal and stay there. Be very proud of yourself, you have a lot to be proud of and I'm really proud of you.

Tiger Lily 03 You're doing great, sweetie. You lost two pounds and you can fit into a size that was once too small. I'm glad you are feeling proud of yourself, you should be feeling proud. You know all of your friends here on WISH are proud of you.

Keep up the great work, you are a wonderful success and I have no doubt that you are going to do fine next week. There is no challenge you can't beat, I'm sure of it. Look how successful you are already!

Mom2Princesses Nancy, still sad about last week? Just be happy about your terrific success this week. We had a great time at Kamy's didn't we? And you lost two whole pounds. That's definitely something to be happy and proud about. Are you feeling proud? I'm feeling proud of you, sweetie.

You are doing a great job. Since you say you are "hoping" that you lost inches last week, then I'm going to guess that means you haven't weighed yourself yet. You need to measure yourself, sweetie. It's very important...not much fun, but very important. There will be more weeks when you don't see pounds gone but you will lose inches instead. You need to measure yourself, okay? Besides, it's even more exciting to see the inches disappear than it is to see a smaller number on the scale. At least, it's more fun for me.

Liz I'm pretty sure that .4 gain is not a true gain. It's probably just fluid retention from those off plan foods. It will go away soon.

You are newly determined and focused on your goal again. You will show a loss next weigh in I'm sure. You earned your clippie so you get to keep it, even if you gain .2 pounds--heck, even if you gain 10 pounds, you still get to keep it. You earned it, sweetie.

I'm proud of your determination!

DISshopkeeper Our WISH merchant! Love your new name, Dorothy and your new job description :) You have taken on a job that will surely keep you too busy to worry about snacking, huh?

Another two pounds gone forever, good job! You are working your way to goal and doing so well. I'm really proud of you, be proud of yourself!

audflash You have a very positive attitude, I like that a lot! Even though you showed a gain you are still determined and motivated. Excellent!

Hmmm, think we can come up with a plan for you and your cookie cravings? I'll bet we can. All we need to do is call on our Atkins experts. That's the perfect topic for posting isn't it? You should do that, I'll bet you get lots of ideas.

Sometimes I will buy the carbolite shortbread (when I can find it). Almost 3 grams of carbs each but oh so worth it. At 99 cents each I rarely eat more than one and it takes care of that mouth hunger for a cookie. You should try one, you can get them at Walgreens.

By the way, Audrey, have I mentioned that I'll be in Phoenix in October? I probably have...I'm so anxious to go back "home" again. Let's have a meet if we can :)

ebaynut31 You are calm for someone who lost three whole pounds in one week. No WOOHOO??? No bouncing? Okay, if you say so. I would be bouncing up and down like Tigger if I lost that much weight in one week. I don't consider 3 pounds in one week to be very slow, though ;)

You are doing great with this new and healthy lifestyle of yours. You are steadily working your way to goal. Good job! I'm glad you are part of my support group--you are a great example for me.

WHEW! I did it! I'm caught up again. I love the check in thread. Keep up the good work, everyone. Onward and downward!

Katholyn

PAdisMOM I can't see your clipart but I can imagine how beautiful it is, I'll send a private message and see if I can get it figured out for you.

You did a great job this week! I'm so glad that you and your family were safe from the tornado. How scary that must have been.

You lost another two pounds. What a success you are! Aren't you feeling proud? Are you smiling? I'm so happy and proud of you, you should be feeling proud of yourself. Your determination is paying off. Good job!

Katholyn

Katholyn,

I just want to tell you that you are truly an awesome person! I'm truly amazed at how much dedication and time you spend on this board making every single person going through this struggle feel GREAT about themselves. I feel so special when I see my name and the great things you say about me. :) I make sure I come to this board every day and I make sure I read your posts b/c it makes me stick with what I'm doing especially b/c of YOU! You deserve a big hug for all you do! {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}

Christiana :)

Lisa96 Thanks for the suggestion on the De-Light bars. I haven't seen them at any of the grocery stores in my area but I've been wanting to get to our GNC so I'll have to check them out.

Kath Thanks for all the words of encouragement for my upcoming picnics and trip to see my sister! I will just stick to salads and roll less sandwiches at the picnics and I'm amazed at how good I am getting at passing up desert at parties and picnics LOL. I actually talked to my sister tonight and we usually share the cooking when we go visit them plus eat out a little. I am actually going to make Steph's Yummy Chicken Stuff and the Green Bean Casserole from the low carb recipes thread for the night it's my turn to cook. I recently found out that her sister-in-law that will also be there when we are is also doing Atkins, so that should make things easier to stick to it too! Now I just need to make sure that the car doesn't stop at the bakery for those donuts LOL!

Cheryl:bounce:

Well, because I have a Thursday weigh in I'm late again as usual! :)

Stepped on the scale today, fairly confident that I had only eaten when hungry this week and stopped when satisfied (including strawberry pie, tacos with sour cream and chicken papriksh--hard to stop with those, but I DID it!)......

And, since last week, I've lost TWO more pounds! For a total of 11 pounds with WISH!

Heading out to grab my new clippie and change my sig! :)

Thanks all for the support and encouragement!

I'm checking in a day early since I'm leaving in the morning and will be away for the weekend.

Well, I lost another pound bringing me down to 139!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc (Special thanks to TigH for your vote of confidence! ;) )

Now the real test will be trying to keep that pound off since we will be gone and eating out all weekend. I really like being back in the 130's though so I'm going to try to be super careful! Plus, one more lb. off and I'll be able to get my 5 lb. clippie!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Cheryl, having another person there doing Atkins is going to make things a lot easier for you, I think. If you like cheese cake you should print off the recipe and take it with you. It is really delicious and is a nice low carb treat :)

ohiominnie Way to go! You are doing so well with your weight loss. Another two pounds gone forever!

I love your new clipart. It looks great on you. I'm so glad you are part of my support group, you help keep me motivated.

nicolep91 YAY!!!! Another pound bites the dust! You are doing a great job. Congratulations making that break through to under 140. I hope you are feeling proud because I'm sure proud and happy for you. You are going to have a new clipart very soon, I'm sure of it, you are just doing a super job with this weight loss stuff.

Enjoy your weekend and just make the best choices you can. Have bunches of fun :)

Wow! Congratulations to everyone who lost weight :teeth: It seems like it was a great week!

I weighed in this morning at WW and I lost 0.8 pounds ... well, that's almost 1 :p I'm not looking forward to next week, it's my boyfriend's birthday which means lots cake and lots of food in the fridge
