WISH Check-IN week of February 17

Weigh in was today and I lost 4.4 pounds this week. That is a total of 19.4 since November. I gained 1 pound over the past 2 weeks so I still haven't reached my first 5 pounds for the DIS WISH, but that will come soon, I hope.
 
Everyone (except me) seems to be doing so well! Keep up the good work, everyone.
 
Is it too late to post a check-in? :)

I started the "Karen diet" (making healthier choices and working out) around the first of February. I weighed in at 159 and on Monday th 17th I weighed 157. My goal is to get to 145 and see what happens from there.

So...when I hit the five pound mark, can I use one of those cool WISH clipart thingies? Or do I need to "register" in another thread?

Congratulations to everyone on their success!!! I lurk here quite a bit and I am always inspired by your stories and triumphs.

Okay, Thursday is my day. The good news is that I finally got rid of that extra 7 pounds of fluid I was carrying. The not so good news is that I didn't lose any weight this past week.

I happen to think that this is totally unfair because my husband lost 8 pounds over the same time period. Men!

Oh well...it's a new day and a new week and I'm hoping that I'm losing inches if not pounds. Don't get measured for 3 more days.

I lost 2 pounds this week. So far that makes 8 since I joined the Wish Challenge. My husband and I are going to Disney in a little over a week. I hope I don't gain any of it back after our trip!
 
Congratulations on your weight loss! Have a great trip and if you gain a pound or two just get right back on your eating plan right away.
 
You all inspire me!!! I am glad I finally decided to take the challenge and I look forward to being able to post my milestones with the rest of you. I just started this week, so my weigh-in day will be Monday.

I had my weigh in today and I am down 2.5#! for a total of 4.5# ~~~~~ Now, why couldn't I get that extra .5????? :D Well, next week for sure then, I will get my clippie and my first reward I have scheduled is the My Big Fat Greek Wedding DVD! I bought it and asked DH to hide it for me, and give it back when I reach 5#. well did he hide it??? NO!!!!!! He put it prominently on the headboard, so I see it daily. He knows me best, because it truly is inspiring me.

I am on WW, I got serious on Monday, and I know I am way over on points, but what I needed to get in control first is snacking. So that is what I am working on until tommorow. Then I will work on decreasing the points until I am in my range. I always worried about being perfect when doing WW. I learned that as long as I keep making these changes slowly, that I can do this, and I will get to my goal. My snacking was outrageous, and I don't even miss it like I thought I would. I am so motivated right now, I can hardly stand it!

Well, I am late checking in this week due to having problems getting onto the boards. All I can say is up and down, up and down, that seems to be the way my weeks are going. I am up two pounds this week. I just can't get motivated to keep my exercise going. I go good for a couple of days and then fall off. I also know that I am not drinking enough water. I have no problem with this in the summer, but the winter time is very difficult. Congrats to everyone who lost and keep up that good work.

Congratulations Princess Vija, you will earn that first 5 pound clippie very soon, I'm sure.

jimmytammy, I do the same thing. Most of the time my gains are fluid retention. You'll drop that weight eventually, just hang in there and don't give up. I know you can do it.

Had my weigh-in yesterday, and I was down .4:(

Too many munchies, of course, but at least it wasn't a + or a dreaded M (for maintained).

Gonna be better this week, gonna be better this week, gonna be better this week....
 
That is almost have a pound, I think that's great!
 
wELL....alittle setback! I gained .4 lbs. but have still lost 3 lbs. since I joined the Challenge and 15.6 lbs. since Jan. 2nd. I need to drink more water, eat more fruit and work out alittle more to get back on track. I do think that the snow was really tough this week, we were all housebound and it was harder to exercise. I bet we all will have a good weigh-in next week!
 
I had my WW weigh-in last night and am down 3.4 lbs! Its 9.8 total. I so hoped I'd make it to 10!

Congratulations to everyone, whether you lost or not! Its great that everyone is here and trying!!!
 
Great work everyone!!! Keep it up. For those who gained or had a bad week it will get better just stick with it!!

I admit it I skipped my weigh in this week. It is that time and It was a horrible one this month so I figured there was no point upsetting myself since I know I was very bloated and retaining water. WE shall what happens next week.

jlawall, I hate weeks like that but you know it's going to come off soon.

Liz, only .2 pounds more and you'll have earned that 10 pound clippie??? I can't even earn the five pound loss one. Way to go!

Jiminy, I have no doubt that you will show a terrific loss next week. I hate those weight gains from fluid, I have them alot :(
