WISh Check-in week of August 31

I lost 1 pound this week, which was great after losing 2 last week. I have now lost 22 pounds on WISH, and am 64 down from my top weight. I also noticed a nice difference in how my clothes are fitting me.

I am doing operation Halloween, and now am down 1 pound on that.

26 pounds to goal. Onwards and Downwards!!!

I am happy to report a 2 pound loss, which nabs me the 30 pound clippie!! The 25 lb clippie holders had a goal of getting the shiny 30 lb-er by Labor Day, and I made it!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc
HOORRAAAAYYYY!! I was very stalled since no exercise cuz of surgery, but I am all healed up and begininning exercise all over. Feels great!!:Pinkbounc

It brings me 2 pounds away from my 1/2 way point, and 10 away from Operation Trick or Treat--here's to a treat instead of a trick!!

I weighed-in this morning with a 2 pound loss. I am pretty happy with that but I was hoping for a little more. On Friday I was down 3 pounds and only 1/2 pound away from my 40 lb. clippie. I was really aiming for a new clippie for my birthday goal but I don't think I am going to lose 1.5 pounds in the next two days.

I had a few challenges this week (DH's parents surprise visit when they took us to the Outback - not WW friendly :eek: especially at the last minute), my parents visit for the last two days and then on Saturday morning I broke my toe. I not only broke it but SHATTERED it! :(

I was doing so well with the exercise and not letting myself have any excuses and now this. One of my first thoughts (after I stopped worrying about passing out from the pain ;) ) was that I was going to be out of commission when it comes to exercise for at least a little while and that really bummed me out. I was really making it a habit and enjoying it and this I am afraid will be a big setback for me. I can't even get shoes on right now because my toe is so swollen. You can't imagine how bad it looks and even though it has been two days it still still quite painful. :( I don't know how long it will be before I can get on the treadmill or WATP again. :( :(

Well hasn't this been a depressing post? I am going to try to be positive but the last 48 hours have been rough.
 
ooohhhhh---Becka---{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} I am so sorry about your toe!! That has to really hurt!! I will pray for the pain to go away, and for a speedy recovery!:(
Exercise will come in time, just let yourself heal! Now is a good time to get others in house to pamper you!;)

Well I was so excited about loosing 3 pounds that I tried to start my own weight in thread. I still don' t know why I didn't see this one. Oh well, all of the vacat ion weight is now gone and I'm ready to shed some new pounds. Have a great week everyone!!!

I am happy to report a loss of 1.5 pounds this week despite the added weight training. YEAH YEAH YEAH!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: I was afraid I might start a stall.

Becka, I love Outback and consider it a treat even on WW. I usually get the Chicken on the Barbie (I skip the bbq sauce). I eat half of the chicken they serve and all of those delicious veggies. Yum Yum and not bad on points at all at 9 points total. Sorry about your toes. That's a huge bummer! :(

Maintaining your weight is not as much fun as losing but it's a very good sign because it proves that you will be able to keep those pounds off once you have lost all you need to lose. Be proud of yourself, you are doing great.

Hey everyone! Hope you all enjoyed your holiday!

Back to work tomorrow!(I teach) I've got my lunches for the week planned out. The only thing I need to deal with is getting out of bed early enough to exercise. I am ready though! I always feel like the new school year is a fresh start.

Hi Everyone!

I haven't checked in for a few weeks because I've just been maintaining. Still about 5 pounds from goal but I have 6 weeks til our trip!

I had to quit Atkin's because it was apparently making me have stomach pain. My dr. thinks that I can't process all of that protein! Oh well, I guess I'll have to exercise after all!

After several weeks of ups and downs, it's finally mine!! I weighed in today with a 1 pound loss and exactly 30 pounds lighter than when I started WISH!!! I'm so excited that I was able to meet the 25 clippie club's Labor Day goal! I thought I might not be able to do it with all the Bloat Fairy visits I've had lately!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc


Becka, your poor, poor toe!!!:eek: Take care of yourself and don't worry about exercise for now!! Just get that toe better!!
 
Sigh. Plateau this week, hopefully broken by next. I have a drs. appointment for an official weigh-in on the 9th.

I'm happy to report that I lost the 3 pounds I gained last week. So I'm back to a total of 46 pounds lost. Hope to really get back in the groove this week. Congrats to ALL!
 
I am delighted to report a three pound loss this week!!

I claimed my 20lb clippie a couple of days ago and another pound is gone since then!! My loss on WISH up to date is 21lb - a total loss for me of 25lb.

The best news for last - I am now into 'onederland' - just one pound into it - but there!!

I think the Bloat Fairy has been with me for the last couple of weeks - but thanks to the Whoosh Fairy - I'm in onederland!!

Well I missed my Labor Day mini goal by 1lb but that's ok. I lost 1 1/2lbs and 2more inches. I'm sure the other lb will come off quickly so I'm not worried about it. I have now lost a total of 39lbs and I'm very happy. I'm more confident and outgoing now. Everyone has noticed the weight loss and I've been getting tons of compliments. I'm starting to find the size 12 clothes I bought recently are starting to be a little roomy. Not long before the size 10's will fit.
Congratulations to everyone that even checked in this week, good or bad. At least by checking in you are still motivated and that is half the battle! Have a great week!
 
Well, I finally made it- after a weird week- it seems I lose 2 pounds the day after my weigh ins then I struggle to keep those 2 pounds off before the next weigh in- very weird....but I squeaked it out and am officially 45 pounds gone!!!

I lost 2 pounds this week for a weight of 191- Only 5 pounds to go before our dream vacation at Disney- I can't wait to snag that 50 pound clippie but I will be enjoying this 45 pound clippie for probably the next 3 weeks- that seems about how long I keep them.

Great job everyone, and if the Labor Day food got ya off track just think there's not another big holiday for quite some time- take that time to go ONWARDS & DOWNWARDS!!!!

I am happy to say that I lost 0.4 pounds even though the bloat fairy is in town. It seems that I have finally convinced my body that it's not starving to death and it doesn't have to gain weight every week after it loses some. I'm very, very happy to have broken that cycle. I also got my 1st exercise clippie, woo hoo! :)

good morning WISHers!!

no loss this week...i did lose about 1/2 an inch on my thighs, but i gained about 1/2 an inch in my waist, so it all washes out. oh well...i knew i wouldn't have a loss to report this week anyway. since my birthday was sunday, i gave myself the leeway to splurge a little and enjoy my weekend! but at least the scale stayed the same!

we're off to kansas city this weekend...hopefully i can make wise choices when it comes to dining!

onward and downward everyone!
 
Ugh!! Not a great weigh in today! I have gained a pound!!! I am so miserable...well not really, since it is TOM so I know it is water weight, but still...I would rather see the scale go down and not up!!

Hopefully next week I will be back to normal!

Yeah! After stalling out for 2 weeks, I can finally report a LOSS!!! I am down 2.5 pounds this week even with the yucky holiday weekend where I snacked way too much. This brings me to a total of 8.5 pounds lost. I didn't make my labor day goal of 10 pounds but I am really feeling good about the changes I have been able to make in my life to become a healthier person. I am about to start the Operation Trick or Treat Challenge and have set a goal of 15 pounds. I think that with the amount of exercising I am now doing and having been doing WW for a couple of months now this should be a reachable goal.
