WISH Check-In Week of 3-30

<b>Becka!</b> That is great! 5.5 pounds gone forever. Good luck with those cookies that you love, what a temptation to have in your desk. You will do fine at the luncheon. Try to fill up on salad and/or legal veggies and hopefully the desserts won't be so tempting for you. You have already earned your first loss clippie! I'm so proud of you.

<b>kamgen</b> Just yesterday you were a little depressed weren't you? Look how well you did! Two pounds is a terrific loss for the week. I'm so happy and proud for you.

<b>perfectmatch300</b> Nancy don't be so discouraged, you <b>will</b> lose this extra weight, it's just taking you a little while to learn about your portion control. Perhaps a food scale and new measuring cups would help. Start measuring everything so that you can recognize what a "serving" looks like. Good luck with that buffet and enjoy your celebration.

<b>Liz</b> WooHoo!!! I love your new clippie. You are doing so well. Isn't it funny how our bodies like to surprise us with the way we lose or don't lose weight? You'd better get back to drinking that water though. Congratulations on such a great loss!

Tomorrow is my day to weigh. Wish me luck. I've been good and on program but that doesn't always result in weight loss for me, thanks to this stupid fluid retention thingy. I'm hoping for a loss, any loss, any loss at all :teeth:
 
Sorry I haven't had a chance to check in lately, but I've been keeping busy and exercising like crazy!!!

I lost 2.6 pounds this week and 2.4 last week, that added to my 8 before gives me a total of 13 for WISH!! So far I've lost 27 pounds (since I started on 1/1) and only have 10 more to lose before our Disney trip on 5/2!!! I know I can do it!!!

Well I lost .4 pounds this week, but a loss is a loss, no matter how small. Total for two weeks is -2.8 Now I only have 2.2 to go before I get that 5#clippie!

The meeting was encouraging and I'm motivated to do what I know I must this week.(journal, drink water, plan,plan,plan!)

I also signed up for water aerobics classes. They begin next week- Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm-8:00pm. I figure if nothing else, I won't be on the couch snacking!:)

It's great to see how well everyone else did too. It really motivates me to do better. I love the WISH challenge!:)
 

anniet losing .4 pounds is a good loss, it's almost 1/2 pound. If you had gained that much you would be distraught, I know, so I think it's a good loss. Good for you! You are getting closer and closer to that 5 pound loss clippie, it's almost yours now. You sound very determined and motivated, I'm proud of you!

I lost 1.2 this week for a total loss of 25.8. And now I can get my 10 pound clippie.

Only .4 pounds to go to meet my goal weight.
 
WOW! Carol, you're only .4 pounds from goal? How wonderful. I'm so proud of you, you have really done well with this.

I am so excited! The WHOOSH Fairy actually visited me. I lost <b>5 pounds</b> this week!

I can't believe it. I was resigned to dropping 1/2 pound a week and then all of a sudden I dropped <b>5 pounds</b>!!!!

Actually, what I think happened is that I dropped some of this stupid fluid that I usually hold onto. But I don't care <i>why</i> I lost 5 pounds, just as long as I did!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I get new clipart!!!! Oh my goodness, I'm really, really happy.

Now I only have 70 pounds to lose. Okay, I shouldn't have said that, it sobered me up considerably.

Onward and downward, my friends :teeth:

Maybe you should put together a book of "diet-isms"!!
 
I lost 0.6 this week. That makes 3.4 since I joined here, and a total of 28.9 lbs. Man I want that 30 so bad. Hopefully, I can do it this week. I've picked up the exercise and I've cut back the points. Hopefully, I'll do it. But if not this week then eventually. I refuse to give up, no matter how long it takes.

Congratulations to everyone. Keep it up!! We're all gonna make it!!!
 
<b>Disneyaholic</b> You are very nice, truly. I think you are, anyway. Maybe I have so many "diet-isms" because I've been trying to lose weight since I was 16 and that was mumble, mumble, mumble years ago ;)

<b>TCKK</b> Isn't it frustrating when our weight loss slows down? I think losing .6 pounds is a great accomplishment and I congratulate you. I love your attitude, you are <b>so</b> determined. I'm proud of you. Never give up, you can do this!

Well, I'm finally checking in for this week. Better late than never, right?

I maintained this week. I would have loved to see a loss, but I'm not necessarily surprised after the weekend! :eek: Hopefully, I've learned my lesson and this weekend I'll be so good that I'll have a loss next week!

Nicole, I think maintaining is great, you know that. We would all rather see a loss, but maintaining is <b>so</b> much better than gaining.

It helps me so much to have everyone check in on this thread every week, too. Now get yourself prepared for the weekend. You can do it! And then next week, you will be posting a loss here.

welcome to the 10 pound club!!!!! Yipeeeeeeeeeee

5 in a week, way to go. On to 15, we are headed in the right direction. I only have 50 more to go to my "target" weight, I would love to lose 65, but I won't push it. A little at a time, or a lot after a stall.

I had another 3 pound loss this week, so that makes me 9.4 on Wish and 39.4 since October on WW. Been using a pedometer and working towards 10,000 steps and I've been doing it this week! That's a real improvement for me--I was only hitting about 3,000 when I started using the pedometer.

Everyone is doing so well!!!
