WISH Check-in Thread week of November 2, 2003

Hello everyone!

I'm up .4 this week, and am THRILLED! For weeks I've been wanting SOMETHING under a pound, be it a loss or gain so that I'd know I've got this maintenance thing down. :)

How did you all do?? C'mon.... spill it! ;)
 
I stepped on the scales this morning and another THREE pounds gone, I was thrilled!!! So I finally got a new clippee, woo hoo!!! And down another size in jeans too!! Ya know, I never thought dieting could be FUN but I am having SO MUCH FUN seeing the weight come off and fitting into smaller clothes, yippie!! :bounce: And, knowing I'm getting healthy again is an awesome feeling! :sunny: And realizing that food is NOT the most important thing in the world!!!
 
I lost 2.6 lbs and got my 35 lb. clippie! :sunny:
 
I lost just a half a pound last week. I still have another half pound to get my new clippie.

Things are moving along SLOWLY but at least they are moving!
 

I lost 3 lbs and 4 inches. I claimed my 40lb clippee this week and I can now wear a 14 or 16 depending on the maker.
 
Good Morning fellow WISHers. I am excited to report a 4.2 lb loss this week! And a new clipppie! :Pinkbounc How's it look? :teeth:

I don't weigh in until Tuesday, but I am not looking forward to it...The Bloat Fairy has been here this weekend!:rolleyes:

I returned from WDW last Monday after a few small cheats at the F & W festival...... and this morning I stepped on the scale to see SIX lbs gone!!!!!!

I've FINALLY been able to switch my rainbow clippie for a GOLD one!!!

AND......... to make things even better- DH and I have gotton rid of a total of 63 lbs. between us since starting Atkins on 7/20. Not only that; but our TOTAL 'gotton rid of' from our all time high weights totals 76 lbs. !!!!!
 
Flower, that is great news!! I am so proud of you!! What a wonderful accomplishment to have small cheats at Disney and still have a loss!! :) Way to go!:)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! How great is all of the news above my post?!

I've just joined WISH on behalf of my DBF who started Atkins on Monday. Tomorrow morning we shall have a weigh-in and see how he's done but I know for a fact he hasn't cheated once but has found it very difficult at times (and the sugar withdrawal was not fun for him but he does seem to be over it now).

I just wanna thank all the WISHers for their inspiration and advice! He had a 'mock danish' from the low carb thread today!!!

I lost 2 pounds and finally claimed the elusive 10 lb clippie!!

Congrats to all for another week of working hard at being healthy!!
 
I am thrilled to have maintained last week's loss, given my eating habits this week. Looking forward to a good post next week. Good luck to everyone, and congrats to all the previous posters. BTW, can anyone help me with my clippie--it doesn't work, and all I did was change the 25 to 30??
 
I am trying to get back on a schedule of checking in on Sunday or Monday so this check-in is fro only 1/2 a week.

I stayed the same which makes me happy since I did stray that one day!! I hope to get back on track with some losses because I would really like to lose the weight I want to for the turkey challenge. I did lose another inch in my hips though. TOM is getting ready for a visit which may partially explain no loss this week. Don't get me wrong though. Maintaining is much better than a gain!!;)
 
Well, I could start by hanging my head in shame...but I won't. :)

I did not lose any weight this week. In fact, according to the scales this morning, I have gained, and not just a half pound or so. :rolleyes:

I've been depressed with the stall that has been happening, and that can (and did) lead to going off plan and not recording religiously. I think that I am just tired and bored of getting up in the dark to exercise and planning my foods being the top priority of the day. The teens are teens, report cards are looming and all in all, its been a busy time.

The plusses for the week: I got to Curves twice. I got on the elliptical (thanks, Nancy! That's HARD work!). I only tasted a few of the Hallowe'en treats. I attended an absolutely fabulous Amabile choral concert, and I at least started the reports.

The goals for this week: Curves at least twice and preferably 3 times, measure my food, and journal faithfully. I know that these make the difference for me. There is still enough weight to be lost for me to continue a quicker loss than what I've had the past month or two. Maybe, I need to think about my own version of the Wendie plan. ::yes:: I will do a bit more on the report cards and I will buy at least 2 more Christmas gifts. And the best goal-a London, ONtario DISmeet on Saturday afternoon, and silent auction in the evening with the sisters. Yeah!!!

Now, if I could only win the Magical Gatherings contest!

Congratulations to all the losers and maintainers. For those of you in the same boat as me....we will beat this thing. We've made progress, we're determined and we will be successful. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
 
You guys are all so motivating for me, even though I don't post much, I do read the weekly check in! Wow!!

For me, I'm down 2.6 since last Sunday.

I do have to ask...what do you all do? My normal WI day is Thursday, but do you all WI on sunday for the weekly post? just curious!!

Ok...have a great week and thanks again for all the motivation. Only 33 days (I think) until we hit WDW in Dec! Looking forward to all those AP's and hoping I don't gain!!

trola2...we always start a new weekly post on Sunday morning. You can check in anytime during the week even as late as Saturday night!!! Most everyone weighs the same day each week . I have adjusted mine because I want to be able to weigh in the day after we ruturn from Orlando in a few weeks.
 
I'm down another 4.8 pounds for a total of 10.2 pounds! I am trying to shake a nasty case of bronchitus so I can't start my walking yet. Hopefully next week! :wave:
 
Yippee, I finally got a new clippie!!!
I've hit the 10 pound loss and going strong!

I sure love my new clippie!!!

p.s. I rode a bicycle this weekend for the first time in 15+ years and boy did I have fun and are my legs sore!
 
even though i started a few days ago....i have to stop making my late night twinkie runs!

However i dont know what to eat at school....i dont know whats healthy and whats not...



o well, at least ive been doing my crunches!:sunny:

as soon as i can get to the gym i will use the scale to see...but i doubt i made any progress:rolleyes:
