Wish 7174

We sail early Feb and Just got our room assignment 7174. The video I found looks like the view is pretty obstructed. Can anyone confirm?

Any other thoughts on the room?

We were in that cabin in January of 2023. Yes, the balcony is partially obstructed. Metal plates cover the left quarter of the opening. We actually liked it a lot. It helped to cut down on sun and wind and was a great place to sit at port when the sun was a bit intense on that side and we put wet bathing suits and water shoes in the covered corner to dry without worrying about wind blowing them off the chairs. We liked it so much we tried to book a 7A GTY for the next cruise on the Wish but they upgraded us to 6B so we didn't get the obstructed balcony.

It's a nice quiet location because there's not a lot of traffic outside the room. It's a bit of a walk to the elevators but we didn't mind that.

Are all 7 GTY obstructed? Someone booked for us so I’m not sure if it’s a cheaper category or did we just get the obstructed luck of the draw….
