Speaking of elephants, when my sister and I were young, our mom took us to a small circus that had performing elephants. Little kids were sitting all along the edge of the ring where they were doing the show, and my sister wanted to sit too. She kept asking and Mom kept saying no, that it was dirty. One of the elephants came around and let loose and my sister was covered from the knees down in elephant manure! Needless to say we were all glad she wasn’t sitting down! Fortunately she was wearing shorts since it was summer. Mom took her to the nearby restroom to clean her up and threw her shoes away. Since then we have always considered elephants to be armed and dangerous.
