Wisconsin Dells

We just arrived for a long weekend at Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells, WI. This is an exchange thru RCI.

We have a 2BR townhouse villa with full kitchen, gas fireplace and jacuzzi. Extra housekeeping is $35 per day for "light" service (make beds - no new linens-, remove trash, exchange towels, clean floors) and $80 per day for Full Service- with fresh linens and towels.

There is a free daily towel exchange from 9-noon ($2 per set for exchange other than those hours).

Linen exchange is $2 per set (Set includes flat sheet, fitted sheet and pillow cases).

The resort is a Bluegreen Timeshare. Villas are very nice- but not up to DVC standards, IMO. Resort offers golf, boating and skiing (in season).

Check out is 10:00am- we have to remove bedding and put dishes in dishwasher and remove trash to dumpster or deduction will be made from deposit.

Exchange fee was $125.

Lots to do in the area- indoor water parks, lake tours, Duck Boats, golf, skiing, hiking, etc.

I'm on a (sloooow) netzero dialup. Maybe it'll be faster tomorrow.

Have a wonderful time at the Dells, Doc! If you've never done the Duck Boats, try to work it in. Lots of fun!

Thanks so much for posting on this exchange. Being less than 2 hours from the Dells (and a big fan of the place), I'm sure I'll use that exchange also in the future.

Is this resort on the main strip or is it off the beaten path a little?
