Is there any other Disney Resort except VB that has Wireless in the rooms?:confused3

I haven't tried this but people bring there own wireless router and plug it into the wired connection in the room so they can be wireless anywhere.

On our recent trip, we made a little detour to a Best Buy and picked up an Apple AirPort Express (both of us have HP laptops). We took it back to our room, plugged it in and VOILA! Wireless!! :)

I think the cost was about $100 - and the device is TINY....we will definitely keep it in our travel bag to take on trips. I travel a lot for business & find rooms without wireless very frequently. I will be loving this thing for sitting in my bed in my comfies and accessing internet when I want.

Grand California has both. It's a good thing because the wireless signal was very weak when I stayed there last month. I used the wired.

BLT tells you you can get it in the lobby only, but we were able to connect in our room, though the signal was very weak and sometimes we would lose it.

Rumor is that wifi is coming for all the resorts. But in the meantime, I brought a wireless router to BCV and it worked fine.

I hope it doesn't. I prefer to use my own router. It is annoying at HHI for instance because each time I turn my Ipad on I have to re-enter that code. Also, some streaming devices have no browser functions which mean they are pretty much useless without a router. There are ways to bridge it but the resulting signal is so weak it is hardly worth it.
