A number of people here have mentioned that they use a wireless router in the villas. What type of router do you use? I would like to have one handy.
Thanks!
Thanks!
If you could find one cheap enough, you might consider a travel router. In simple terms a travel router would allow you to convert the network cable into a WiFi connection.

Someone recommended D-Link DWL-G730AP Wireless Pocket Router/AP w/ which is about 52.00 through Amazon.com. It is small and comes with a travel case. I am thinking about ordering it myself.
^They should work fine with your wireless router assuming you have them set up with the applicable password to your router. There is an ethernet hook-up in the wall in the rooms that you plug into and even if you forget to bring your ethernet cord, there is one in the room in the closet. Note, even at home the computer really has nothing to do with your 3G and Itouch getting wireless. You just need the computer to set up initial access to the router and a password.
Thank you! So if I purchase a new router for our trip next month, will it be easy to set up at the resort or should I set it up at home with my computer?
My goal is to not take the laptop with us and my DS needs Wi-Fi for his I-Touch.
Thank you again!
