Hello: I was wondering if there is free wi-fi internet anywhere at the beach club/BCV? I have an IPad and you can't put an ethernet cable into it. Thanks Tom
Most people bring a wireless router to provide wifi service in their unit, since there is no wireless in the DVC units in DisneyWorld. The wired access in the room is free to DVC members.
I just recently stayed there and picked up a wireless signal, but it was secure, I tried a few generic passwords, they did not work. I ended up using my verizon wireless card to get a signal because the whole "wired" thing bothers me.
Airport Express is Apple's version of a small wireless router - but there are non-Apple ones as well - think they are often referred to as travel routers.
I just left BCV yesterday, and the card in the room that explains how to use the ethernet cable says that they DO have wireless service in the lobby. I have a verizon usb card for my internet anyway, but I did read that on the card in the room

If that's correct (other resorts do have that) - it's fee based - more than the amount that it costs in the resort rooms - and I don't think that would be free for DVC members. It's a credit card based system at the resorts that do have it from what I understand.
