is there any way you can trace a wireless digital camera if it connects to the internet?

ours is missing, and we wonder if the dh's nephew took it.. accidently or on purpose..

Very unlikely... even if you could, it's not likely to transmit its serial number so you wouldn't be able to tell one camera from another.
