Wireless access at hotels

I've noticed people who have posted fromt he World and was wondering if I brought my laptop would I be able to access the internet with a wireless card??

We had wireless in our room at the CR (tower). The cost is $9.95 a day to connect. There were two connections available, a secured and non secured one.

I don't know alot about wireless connection, but I thought if you were in a "hot spot" you would just be able to connect and it was totally legal to do this??

I can't help with the hot spot connection, but I know my wireless computer would not connect in the rooms without paying. Instead of paying $9.95 per day, I just unplugged the phone and used dial up from there. I called "0" before I logged on and got a local dial up number. It costs $.70 per call as long as it was a local call. It did not matter how long I was logged in. For my 12 day vacation, it cost less than 24 hours of wireless. That is what I will continue to do in the future until wireless becomes free at Disnay. And I personally do not see that happening anytime soon.
