Anyone have any details on why it's closed? Is it usually down for refurb at the same time as Blizzard Beach?

It's a planned refurbishment. It's what I read in our family holiday celebration booklet for CMs. It said it would be closing for refurbishment Jan 5th. We received the booklet in Oct I think.

You should be fine for Winter Summerland. Closure expected for only six weeks, beginning 1-4-15. Fantasia Gardens not expected to close.

WinterSummerland is less challenging. Fantasia Gardens (the traditional miniature golf course) is more challenging and the Fantasia Fairways (like a putting course) is the place where four grown adults with real golf experience just threw away the score card after the first five holes because we all had the maximum amount of strokes up to that point.
