Winter Summerland

Is Winter Summerland open during Blizzard Beach's extended winter closure? If so, how do you get there with Disney transport? I ask because I was planning on taking a bus to Blizzard Beach and walking to WS, but I imagine that bus won't run if BB is closed.

I "believe" that you take the Animal Kingdom bus and tell the driver that you're going to Blizzard Beach. They definitely provide transportation there during the Blizzard Beach closure. You can check with your hotel concierge to get the details.

I think I remember a discussion about this a few years ago. Don't know if you can find something on a search. Might be worth trying if you have a few hours to kill lol.

I had heard that you can take a bus to Epcot and they have a bus that goes to BB and CSR. Then you take a bus back to EP to get back. Seems like a lot of work!! As much as I love the theme of WS, we may just opt for Fantasia and visit the boardwalk, too. We are going in December and the Santa portion would have been nice. If we try it...I may just ask a bus driver at the resort...
