It's crazy! Snow before Halloween is downright wrong.

Homecoming for my College Alumni this weekend as well! 4-8 inches of snow expected!

I don't suppose she'll want to wear snow boots, either. :rotfl:

I was complaining that our low tonight is going to be 37 for our school's trunk-or-treat. I guess I should count my blessings that we won't be sitting in snow!

I hope your DD finds a way to stay warm!

I'm in the 6-10" range lol should be a fun weekend!!

I hope your DD was still be able to enjoy homecoming. That snow storm already hit us on Wednesday. We were supposed to get up to a foot of snow but luckily it was 80 degrees the day before so the snow just piled up on the grass and most of it melted on the street.

That is just sick and wrong this early. I always hope every year it doesn't hit us until mid November.

A big problem is that trees still have leaves on them. That heavy snow is going to cling to those leaves which turn will bring down big heavy branches and or trees. Some no doubt will come down power lines. Not to mention many people seem to forget their snow driving skills over the summer
Be safe everyone

The weatherman was saying the other day, It looks like this winter will be worse then last winter for snow and ice. It looks like he might just be right

That is what happened in the Denver area the other day, lots of trees down, power lines down, etc.

20 years ago we had a blizzard on Halloween-everyone still talks like it is "normal" here to have 30 inches of snow on Halloween :lmao:.

I am also in that 6-10 range!! I hate this and I am so not prepared for it!!:scared1:

Yep its early but with the crappy weather we had up in the NE this summer its not really a surprise to me! I'm actually shocked it didn't happen sooner! Its been a REALLY lousy year up here lol :headache:

I still went Trick or Treating that night :)

And made my parents drive me to a party that night, too.

Honestly, I am a bit tired of warm weather and sun. I could use a good snow storm.

Ugh...

It CANNOT snow on the day we leave for Disney!! Actually, it cannot snow the whole month of February just to be on the safe side!!

We went over to some friends' house to help them hand out candy (we were living in an apartment then-no kids yet). It was pretty fun actually and it sure didn't stop the trick or treaters. That is the only year I can remember snow on Halloween. Most years we didn't even need a coat, etc.

I am ALMOST ready for snow--another couple weeks and that would be perfect. These 50's have been just lovely. I love fall.

We are in the 3-5 inch range, and I am SO excited! I grew up in NW PA, lived in SW PA, Central PA, SE PA, Michigan and have been stuck in SE VA for the last 5 years where a threat of a snowflake shuts down the world. I am so excited about being in MA and having a real winter again!
