The one time we went to WDW in the winter (Jan), as the sun went down I remember that while it was chilly but tolerable every where else, on World Showcase it was quite a bit colder due to the wind off the lake. We had hopped from another park -- while we'd been fine in what we were wearing at MK, we were shivering at EP-WS.

We're going back this Feb, and this will be our first stay at an Epcot resort. Was wondering if that area is just like WS: trends towards cooler when outside due to the water? Want to be clothing prepared! :)

Thanks!

In December 2010 when I stayed at the Boardwalk Inn there were some days when it was very cold from morning to night, which effected all of Walt Disney World and not just specifc parts of it.

It depends on how windy it is. With more buildings around the lake, and the lake being slightly smaller, it's not quite as bad as Epcot, but if there's a brisk wind, it will be chilly. The worst thing is standing out on the docks IN the lake if it's cold and windy. BRRRRRRR! At least the boats are warm if you are inside.
