DS Matthew received from Dania a Stitch with a Mickey shirt and he has an ice cream cone in each hand (I have been trying to get this one for myself) and one with Donald in an astronaut suit and it says Discovery on it - cute.

He also received a package from Jean today. He thought that he hit the lottery! He received 2 huge limited edition pins. One is Sttitch in Pirate clothes and the other Fun time Jose which is the front of a watch.

He absolutely LOVED all his pins!!!

I didn't think to check the pins I sent to see if they were scrappers. They are pins I traded for at WDW. Not sure if I will keep doing exchanges unless I have new pins to send. It would make me feel awful if I sent someone a scrapper. If I have sent scrappers, it's unintentional and I'd be glad to replace any I sent.

I'm not sure what scrappers are, if any are from me or my 2 DS's please let me know. These were also traded at WDW in November and we will be happy to replace......

Some people don't care if they get scrappers. A lot of times you can't tell unless you really study them.
You can even get them for the cast lanyards because they can't always tell either.
The real serious traders can....and some are quite ovious.
Don't let that scare you away from the exchanges.

I know if I am in doubt, I just send 3 pins, just in case....and hope that 2 aren't scrappers

and one that looks like 9091 but I don't think it's same pin i believe mine is bigger and from starter set in parks.

Some scrappers are very obvious. Some not so.
Truly the only way to know it is not a scrapper is to buy it direct from Disney.
I will assure you probably every lanyard worn by a CM in a park has at least one scrapper. (And even then I have seen poor quality/defective pins -- where all the pins were the same. So it was a consistent defect. I thought at the time people will think they are scrappers.)
Scrappers are an epidemic.
You just have to know anything traded from a CM lanyard is questionable. And it is not from Disney or a CM cheating anyone.
They are there to keep guests happy, and most do not collect pins. They trade nearly anything. It is shocking the things I have seen on CM lanyards. Anything from earrings, broken/damaged pins, and pieces of pins.
One pin from another doesn't mean a thing to most CMs, and they believe whatever someone has told them about that pin.
Can't tell you how many incorrect pin statements a CM has said to me, and it was because someone told them that.

Seriously though - if any of the ones I sent are "scrappers" I would like to know - and also - I sent out all my trades, but not all have reported as received - should I be worried?

Let me check on them, Michelle....we have one exchanger that appears not to be responding to PMs or posting about receiving.

Let's not worry too much about scrappers. Only a couple have been noticed. I don't think it is or will be a big issue.

Michelle, the only one you sent that has not arrived is the international one.....I wouldn't worry about that one yet. There are ones that were sent before yours that have not arrived yet.

Oh I love a good bootleg pin, like the bootleg Jessica Rabbit seated, or the Coca Cola pins.
(Ones I knew were not authentic when I bought them.)
However I look at those different than scrappers.
