Winter Dec 25 - Jan 26 Direct Incentives

Well, if you already completed your tour during this incentive cycle, then I would probably call and leave a detailed message for your guide saying you want to lock-in. That said, we have had some recent reports of guides telling people that if you didn't lock in within 7-days of a tour, you have to wait for the next incentive period. If you have not done a tour this incentive cycle, I'd call and get one in today.

Just out of curiosity, with the increase in PP cost, does anyone actually expect the incentives to negate the increase and then some?
The incentives for buying more points wasnt very good this round for vdh, I am hoping that the 200 point incentive is better this round and I think thats possible. I dont think 150 or less will be better and I dont think Poly will be better.

I think CFW, VDH and possibly riv have a chance at higher per point being better, although I think less likely for Riv because the two main fl ones are doing well.

Im assuming vdh isnt doing as well as expected because of the pretty good incentives. It seems to me from talking to my guide that initial demand at vdh was the highest theyve seen when it was first on sale and things have slowed is my guess.

Would advise everyone to screenshot the incentives for this cycle for comparison because its the same link that shows the new incentives once the change hits. Im emailing my guide right now to please tell me the new incentive add ons (castaway cay, d23, etc) as soon as she knows

On the whole, definitely not. It does seem like they sometimes make a particular point level (and sometimes just for new members, sometimes just for add-ons) where they make the overall price/point slightly better than the last round. So, I could see, say, a 150-pt add-on at RIV or CFW having a slight better overall cost or, maybe 300 points for a new member getting slightly better from the last round. But, overall, I think most point levels will see an effective increase.

Just in case anyone was wondering, I received a response from my guide about adding 50 points on a contract that has already been signed with previous incentives.

We would get to have new incentives on 200 points if we added 50 more points at this point and we would also get the maintenance free 2025 points from February since we signed before our uy of Feb passed.

Permission is going to be asked for 90 days to pay if i decide i want to go forward, we shall see.

Well I just emailed my guide and she is out of the office until the 11th. I am starting to believe she only works part-time. Really sucks for incentive day because I have questions. Maybe the board can answer some.

I also asked if I were to add 50 more points if the payment can be extended to 90 days. I'll let you guys know the answer. Right now im at 60 days approved. I think with the caveat of it being necessary for me to buy more points, they might cave, but who knows.

Anyways some questions:

1. If we add 50 points tomorrow, would we qualify for incentives on 200 points since we signed for 150 already?

2. Would we still qualify for the February 2025 points since we got them on the 150 points and signed before the new incentive period?

Im sure ill find out from the boards what all of the incentives are before my guide gets back to me 🤣 But if someone can post all the additional incentives (D23, Castaway, etc.) Id really appreciate it!
1. You should still qualify for the previous incentives since the deal was originally under the prior incentives
2. This one I'm unsure about

You need to complete and official "tour" whether in-person or virtual. You will then receive pricing that is good for 7 days. If your guide is off today, I would reach out to MS and see what they can do. I'm sure another guide can conduct the tour.

What is the virtual tour, exactly?

We did an in-person tour in December (last incentive period.) And then last week when we talked to a guide to purchase, we didn't have any kind of virtual tour.

Well, I've never done a virtual one, but I think it is simple as having a conversation with a guide and them formally providing you pricing information. Whenever they do that, by law, you have 7 days to act on that pricing information. So, even if you're crossing an incentive period expiration, you can still take advantage of the prior period incentives until day 7 after your "tour" whether that was in-person or virtual.
