Geez, I didnt even bother looking at the vdh price before because it wasnt on my radar, its nearly $3000 less than Poly And we loved it. I think $1500 extra would have pushed us in that direction, shoot im thinking about it now!

I am! I need to run the numbers, it would be nice to have priority in the one bedrooms, seeing as there are so few of them.

I wish I could track the availability on my end or if someone can tell me how one bedroom availability there stacks up against Poly. Or maybe some future predictions

1 Bedrooms at VDH are harder to get than in PVB.

VDH has 344 total units
1- Dedicated 1 Bedrooms
18- 2 Bedroom Lock-offs (which can also be split into 18- 1 bedrooms and 18- deluxe studios)
Total of 19- 1 Bedrooms in VDH or 5.5% of total inventory

PVB has 644 total units
26- Dedicated 1 Bedrooms
46- 2 Bedroom Lock-offs (which can also be split into 46- 1 bedrooms and 46- deluxe studios)
Total of 72- 1 Bedrooms in PVH or 11.2% of total inventory

Numbers aside, my anecdotal observation/experience is that VDH 1 bedrooms get filled up much more quickly closer around 11 months compared to PVB.

As someone who also prefers 1 bedrooms and plans on going to VDH often, a VDH contract is advised.

Wow so when theyre all declared VDH will only have 344 units and PVB will have 644 units?

I noticed that resales tend to go for even higher than Poly and im wondering if this is due to low inventory or if this will be the norm? I know its restricted, but it being in California and relatively small makes me wonder if it could retain its value?

Is VDH deeded or is it part of the trust?

Dues are pretty high. Is this strictly due to it being in California? It is a tower so is it really that much to maintain?

I think I know the answer to this, but can Tot somehow go away?

Do people really believe that the theme parks will really be expanded to the hotel?

Does anyone know how many 1 bedrooms will be at this hotel vs pit when its all declared and how many garden rooms?

Does the one bedroom have two bathrooms? Are there any views in the one bedroom or is it also terrible?

It hard to say since not all room are declared. Things will change over time

I haven't followed incentives for very long.

I know they do a certain amount off per point each time. But is adding an additional $1500 off a common thing they do on top of that?

Just wondering if they are doing it for VDH now if that means they aren't likely to do it there again in the future.

VDH has had Magic Key discount offered before it was 1500. There was a Disney Visa 1000 off also. The Visa one pops up every so often for multiple resorts.

The Disneyland 70th $1500 discount is nice because you don't have to do/have anything to qualify for that discount. Unlike the Visa, Magic Key, or Disney Cruise Castaway discounts they offer at times.

The Visa one was also around right before the 70th, although it was 1000. The biggest thing currently is the D23 is stackable. Rare to see 3 discounts all at once. (D23, 70th and developer)

Luckily the price increase in February is "just" $3/pt for VDH, but we won't know until then what they will do with discounts.

There is the price raise coming up

I'm not super concerned with that because any extra money PP with a price increase is cancelled out by not having to pay dues until we're ready to buy. so now at $245 PP or later at $248 isn't a big deal to me.
