winter break 2/18 -2/25/06

Hi, Newbie here!
I am looking to rent points for our winter break in 06. We are a family of four with kids ages 10 and 7. We have been to the widlerness lodge and loved it, but we have also heard that old key west is quite lovely. We'd like a one bedroom suite(at least) how many points are needed? also, what are the going rates per point.

For Old Key West, here's how many points you'll need for 7 nights 2/18 checking out on 2/25:
1 BR = 218 points
2 BR = 296 points

If you want to go 6 nights instead, and cut off either the Saturday (2/18) or Friday (2/24), here's what it looks like:
1 BR = 164 points
2 BR = 223 points

You can find the points calculator on many websites if you want to look at other resorts.

Points usually rent for $10-$11 per point, so that may impact the decision some. If you want, I have plenty of points I'd be willing to rent at $10.50/point...just send me a message.

Hi,
I saw you post. A 1 bedroom for the dates you requested at Old Key West would be 218 points. All the other 1 bedroom villas would be more. I get $10 per point. I'm not sure what is available for that week without calling member services. Old Key West is my home resort so I could book that now, while others with different home resorts have to wait until next month. If interested let me know.

Hi,
I can reserve Beach Club Villas up to 11 months ahead since this is my home resort. For a 1 bedroom for the 7 days it will be 218 points. BCV is great since you can walk a short way(5 minutes) to Epcot or take a boat. You can also walk to MGM from the villa or take the boat over. mary joe

If Seabreeze is going to rent you a 1 bedroom at the Beach Club for 218 points for those 7 days take it. He is giving you 52 points for free.

You're right...the chart for 2006 for Feb 16-28 is 270 points for the week. I stand corrected
