winning strategy for MIB??

I'm looking for a link or thread for tips to maximize scores on MIB. I don't need anything really lenghty or involved, just a few of the more obvious things to lok for and a few of the most important tips. Also, what's the "average" score?Thanks - we'll be there this weekend....CAN"T WAIT!!!

The 3 places I try to hit to get a high score are...1. On the right side there is an old man sitting on a bench, hit his hat. 2. On the right side there is a parking meter to hit. 3. The bonus at the end. Then hit anything & everything you can!!! I usually get a high score. Hope this helps. Have a great time.

My suggestion is to read MIB999999's thread at the top of the page. It also takes practice.

One hint is the larger and more obvious the alien, the less points you get. Look for hidden targets as they are usually worth more. And after the scanner portion of the ride, stay on the other car's exhaust. Even when you car turns away from the other car, just turn around in your seat and keep hitting their exhaust.

Don't feel badly. I got 45,000 the first time I rode. Don't laugh---I beat my husband and two sons.

i have read the tips threads on how to score high on mib.
i even made notes on them.


my problem, i can't recheck my notes and play the game at the same time...
and, it is too fast pace and dark to read my notes while on the ride........lol




if i do well on that ride, it is purely luck

I will share this about the ride. When i first started riding MIB i ran into another person that was a chronic. we rode together once and noticed each other's scores. Each of us were over 500,000. We started talking and together we got to the 850,000 to 900,000 plateau by sharing what we were shooting at. We developed patterns and when we got to the 900,000 we were stuck at that plateau. The most difficult part of the game is changing your pattern to get past that 900,000 plateau. The handbook describes one of the patterns you can use to get to the 999,999. Once you hit the 999,999 level the self-imposed pressure is off and the game becomes even more fun. the reason is because you can explore new patterns of what to shoot at in the non-critical areas. It is easier to explore the other targets when you know you can reveret to your old pattern and get 999,999 whenever you want.
We discovered the drop-down-boys as targets and where to shoot to get even more points by exploring.
it is still my hope to one day walk thru the entire ride with all the lights up full so i can see where all the sensors are.
