Does anyone have any recent Lakeshore Lodge construction photos? The last ones I saw were from August 3rd

Here's the view of it from the walkway between Contemporary and BLT from today. I've seen things from the FW end but didn’t realize where it would fall on the view from here.

If you are booking a meal near the park you are going to visit that’s not cris crossing Disney World for dining.

I’m talking about something like staying at Beach Club, going to MK until 1 or 2, going back to hotel for some pool time and then going to dinner at Wilderness Lodge.

That dining reservation deducted points from your Disney expert score. You just ran your family ragged with poor planning.

This confuses me, because once you’re at your car (and BCV parking is reasonably close to your villa), WL (or eventually LSL) is about a 10 minute drive from Beach Club. That’s nothing.

When we stay at an offsite timeshare it’s 20 minutes to get from our door to most Disney resorts / their dining options. And we do that all the time; “Resort hopping” is part of the fun of WDW. After all, from our home to most restaurants in town it’s about the same.

Staying at VGF this weekend and intend to spy on progress at LL somehow... maybe on the boat ride to CFW where I expect to be welcomed like a returning Emperor wearing sort of sun-god robes and all the cast members are singing It's a Small World at me - seems appropriate for owning points at that resort.

ETA - Just changed reservation to Copper Creek Cabin. Should be easier to get pictures now!

Staying at VGF this weekend and intend to spy on progress at LL somehow... maybe on the boat ride to CFW where I expect to be welcomed like a returning Emperor wearing sort of sun-god robes and all the cast members are singing It's a Small World at me - seems appropriate for owning points at that resort.

I will be @ BLT starting next weekend and will be bringing my camera and trying to get some pics ...

At least they should have saved you one of the Fort Wilderness lug bags that sold out in seconds...

You can see the cranes from the monorail, but you get a great view of the construction on the boat to Fort Wilderness for sure.
