I am not a fan of character meals ... especially the buffets as the food tends to be sub-standard and the places are LOUD. ;) My girls are getting older so I asked the youngest DD8 if she really needed to eat with a character this year and if so which one. She said Winnie-the-Pooh.

Now I've done the dinner at Crystal Palace before (again not so impressed) but I know they have all the Pooh characters and they do interact well. I've seen that Pooh can also appear at 1900 Park Faire. Is that for sure?

If you had a choice between those 2 breakfasts, which would you prefer for a DD11 and DD8? We're not on the DDP. Also, do you lose anything by having 10:30 seatings? We're not big breakfast eaters.

Characters are always subject to change, but Pooh & Tigger were at 1900 PF for breakfast with Mary Poppins, Alice & Mad Hatter last June. For us, it was a typical breakfast buffet, but I forgot to try the strawberry soup!

We love the breakfast at Crystal Palace and you are guaranteed to see Pooh since it's called "Pooh & Friends."

Booking the last seating can be nice because you can make it a brunch, and also the place empties out pretty quickly, leaving the characters with plenty of time to spend at your table.
