I have been watching the wait times on rides as we approach our DL trip time and I have noticed long waits for the Winnie the Pooh ride. Is it really that popular? I'm surprised by this one.

Have you noticed long waits while Splash is down? It tends to balloon up when that happens.

I noticed this on my recent trip. A few times I had planned to go on it on the way to Galaxys Edge but when I saw the wait times I didn't. The whole area seemed very crowded, I think it was a result of Splash being crowded, families splitting up, some going on Splash, some going on Pooh. Also Hungry Bear is now back doing Fantasmic Dining Packages, so people could be in the area for the food pick up and then deciding to go on Pooh as they are there.

It can get into the 30 minute range in the afternoon sometimes just by itself but as others have said, splash being down is the main driver of waits here. I've never had it not be a walk-on at the end of the day though so if you can stay late, there's no reason to ever wait a long time for this one.

A couple of weeks ago we waited 20-25 minutes, that was when Splash was up and running and the line for it was almost to Haunted Mansion, and yeah Critter Country seemed much more crowded overall than we were used to seeing.

For years, we mostly walked on that ride. I can't recall it being more than a 10 minute wait, and it was rarely more than 5 minutes. On our trip last October, the line was pretty consistently 30 minutes, sometimes it even went up to 40 minutes. That was a surprise to us.

We did notice longer than usual waits in April, but it was cooler and Splash was not in demand. Seems the same thing happens at the Little Mermaid over in DCA. These "not on the G+ system" attractions have a strange ebb and flow most likely tied to long waits at area attractions or unexpected down time of the headliners.

A side note , it's worth a 10-15 min wait because you will see a few old friends "hanging around" if you look up and behind you when you leave the Heffalump and Woozles room.

No one in my family cares for that ride. We went on it once and that was it. If wait is less than 10 we might wait but probably not. If Winnie the Pooh has a wait time of over 10 min then it means the parks are super packed. Same with Ariel ride in DCA anything other than walk on means the park is super packed.

Or numerous rides are down...
