If one didn't want to go to CP for a breakfast, lunch or dinner, is there any other place in MK to see and get an autograph from the bear all stuffed with love? I know he is over at Epcot but I don't know about MK.

We saw Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore in Toon Town in the tent by where you see Mickey. Sorry, I can't remember what's it's called. The only thing I can't think of is the judge's tent, but I think that is where Mickey is. It's right in that area. There are three different rooms to choose from. One had Cinderella and the mice, one had Minnie Mouse and Chip and Dale, and the other one had Pooh and Tigger and Eeyore.

They are in the "tent" in toontwoon
and at the fantasy land character festival(the old 20,000 leagues dock)

also at AK at camp minnie / mickey

I never knew there were other characters to see in the tent other than Mickey! You just learn something new every day! Am I missing the other characters because I get in line to see Mickey? Is there some other line to see the other areas with the other characters?

Theres one tent with mickey in and theres a separate bigger tent with three rooms with differnet sets of charcters in (one is winnie the pooh and friends, the other cindrella and friends, like the mice and the other had classic characters like minnie mouse or chip and dale) i think some of these characters change daily but the winnie the pooh room always has pooh characters in and vice versus! If you go during the day or when its busy, you have to choose one room to go in and queue in a line for that particular room- you can't go into all three at the same time. if you want to see another room, then you have to queue again in a different for that room! (i know its so time consuming!):(
Hovever if you go towards the end of the day when theres less queues, i found you can just walk from room to room!
Hope that helps!:D

When we went in aug 2002 the Pooh characters were also just on the otherside of the rope to toontown, next to the tea cups. We went to toontown two or three times just before it openned at 10 AM and this is when we saw them there, every time. This was good because then you could skip the line for the Pooh characters and concentrate on the other characters in the tent. I can't say for sure if they do this still or not, but if you plan to go to toontown at the 10 AM openning try going about 15 minutes early just to check. It couldn't hurt, right.:D

Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore can be found at the Toontown Hall of Fame at MK. It's inside the County Bounty gift shop between Mickey and Minnie's Houses. Lines can get pretty long here, so seeing the characters as soon as it opens (around 10am), before it closes, or during the 3pm parade are the best times to visit Pooh and friends with a minimum wait.

I think that the Toontown area is great for character interaction. I read on these boards before out last trip the BEST tip that saved so much time. On one of our MK days, we got there when the park opened. Toontown doesn't open at the same time as the rest of the park (I believe it is an hour later). They have the whole area roped off. However, the train is open as soon as the park is, and you can take a train ride around and get off at Toontown. They still have the area roped off, but you are so much closer to everything. Plus, while you are waiting your kids can play on the playground. We were the first ones to see Cinderella for the day. It was great!

These are really great tips - thanks. I am more than a little embarrased by the fact that I had no idea there were other characters to meet at Toontown other than Mickey :o We went on our last trip with another family who have a Cindy obsessed daughter and we did make it to CRT, but if they had known about Cindy in toontown it would have been an even better experience over there - as it was, it was just darn hot and the playgrounds were out of control and we basically just saw Mickey and then took the train out of there.

Lets make a pact and no one tell my friends about this - I'll just say its something new on our next trip. ;)

So, given what Madi100 tells us, would you take the train over - do the playground and do character meet and greets first thing or follow standard advice and go straight to FL and get Fast passes for Pooh and ride Dumbo?

It is starting to seem to me that riding the train and heading to the back of TT may be awesome advice and completely against the grain - which is always a bonus plan.

I'm commenting on my own advice. :) I think to me, it was more important for us to see characters then it was to ride on the "big" rides like the mountains. When we were there last February, we did exactly what I posted above, and we had no problems getting on Dumbo. I can't remember if we did them in two different days or not, though. When we got to Toontown and in the building there was no line. When we got done, there was a line. Hope this helps you out a little bit.

It helps me more than a little bit Madi - thanks. I would never have thought of it had it not been for you and whoever gave you the advice to begin with. I think it sounds GREAT! It gets it out of the way, whereas the way we did it last time - by going after FL and Belle's story time - we were already tired, cranky and obviously did not have the patience to check everything out.

 Big wave to you!
