I just had to share....for the last view months I have been winning some contests nothing super big or grand but FREE which is good for any budget So what have I won you ask...well the first thing was a month's supply of slurpees(icey drinks) tickets to a baseball game tickets to a waterpark tickets to the theatre tickets to a concert at radio city and just this week tickets to Dutchwonderland! How did I win all this wonderful free entertainment for the summer...the local radio station, I went on line and filled out the contests they offer, best of all it's free I did win the dutchwonderland tickets on their website. Since we had to cancel our Disney trip because we needed a new car it has been great to still have fun things to do with our boys So has anyone else won anything? Big or small I have entered the AAA disney sweepstakes..a girl can dream cant she So please share your I CANT BELIEVE I WON STORY!!!!

Fellow LI here too. I was wondering what station. Last year my one ds won tickets I think from WBLI for a concert at Jones Beach but he couldnt go as he didnt have a ride.

I havent been all that lucky this year.

So far I won 8 rapid rewards for dh. But combined with what he had we got a free ticket for our Disney trip in december.

Also 10 boxtops for education and a box of barilla pasta and sauce.

I agree, local radio stations are the best. I won a $50 gas card from them (actually got the call about it when we were driving on our way to Disney, stopped for gas... made me feel better about the gas for the trip ) and I won tickets to Disney on Ice through another station.
Other than that I won a dog walking jacket through Rachael Ray's website last year, a $250 jacket, used as a light jacket, heavy jacket or vest, it was a great prize. Doesn't hurt that I love dogs and the little dog on it fits me well
I've gotten a couple free coupons here and there in online contests too, and a free digi scrapping Disney kit from a designer once.

It was WalkFM my husband really wants to win the car and new driveway Have you entered any of the contests? I know on fridays WalkFM goes to a friendly's on the island and gives away tickets(thats how I got tickets to splish-splash)They only have a certain amount of tickets and what they hand out from week to week changes I believe.If you go onto their site you can find out where they will be today.I did not know about the Jonas Brothers game.I just have to share this story I'm a talker what can I say I'm irish it's in my genes.Anyway...the concert tickets I won was for New Kids On The Block,I went to a concert to see them twenty years ago with my little sister so of course I brought her with me.We had a blast going down memory lane.The thing we could not believe was how far some of the girls(women) came and how they still wanted to marry Joey sorry went of on a tangent there but the Jonas brothers made me think back to my own crazy teen years

DH wins concert tickets and random things from radio stations constantly. He loves calling into them and almost always gets through. His latest tickets were for Justin Bieber so DD and her friend went last night to that concert. The tickets before that were for Pearl Jam. He also won 5 tubs of Turkey Hill ice cream and 2 tickets to see that Cats & Dogs movie, that was last week. There were some other movie tickets a couple weeks ago too. He's got his list of radio stations and when he can win again written down! LOL

I didn't know about the splish splash tickets. I would love to get those for free. How do you find out what friendly's they are going to be at?

They were very excited. Although not as excited this morning when she still had to be out the door at 6:40am for school!

DH just says to call right before the time to start calling and if it's ringing, just let it keep ringing as that means you are through. He's also got all the numbers programmed into his cell so I'm sure that helps. I think it really is a timing thing and once you've got the timing down, you'll always be one of the first people to get through, yk?

The friendlys this week is the one on route 101 in Medford at 3pm. I went to one three weeks ago and showed up 10min early and there was a line.They handed out concert tickets and splish-splash tickets or free ice-cream coupons.Once they where handed out that was that not everyone on line got something.Good luck if you goI had no idea about the driveway thats crazyThe car is a two year lease by the way.
