Winging it? Anyone NOT purchasing LLMP?

We're going in a couple of weeks so I plan to get it for our first MK day and for HS days. Our 2nd MK visit is for a MHSSHP & I can't justify getting it for AK or EP.

As I learn more about this new system, I was originally thinking I would purchase it. Then realized it would not be needed (for our group) for any park other than MK. But, now I am realizing that since MK is our FIRST park day, I will be unlikely to get morning selections, correct? Mainly, I wanted it for TBA. Now I suspect that TBA will not be available at all on day -7.

Is it confirmed that this actually happens? Do ADRs automatically block you from making LLSP and LLMP during the same time period?
What happens if one person is the lead on the ADRs, does not fill in who the other "guests" are, and then someone else in the group makes the LLSP/LLMPs?

Molly confirmed that the system will not display attraction times that would overlap with an existing ADR in her recent vlog. I guess if only the lead name is filled in on the ADR then the remaining members of the party will not experience the block because their MDE will not have them recorded as having a reservation elsewhere.

We're on the fence about using LLMP. We have one adult in our group who has never been to Disney. He will probably want to make the most of the days he is there. But it will be up to him to make the purchase and get his LLs. We have conferences at the beginning of our trip and won't be doing much time in the parks for the first few days. LLMP would be a waste of money. We also have 2 kids under the age of 5 going along. The tier 1 rides are not critical to their enjoyment. We're more concerned about waiting 45-60 minutes in line for the likes of Peter Pan or Jungle Cruise with toddlers. So we might buy LLMP for an MK day near the end of our visit.

Good info. How long is "the system" blocking off for an ADR?

I don’t think you need it. Granted there was a severe weather forecast, but without it in one day we road: big thunder, small world, tron, haunted mansion, dwarfs, hall of presidents, and pirates from 10-330. And then road remy that night.
Crowds were low and according to every Lyft driver and cast member I spoke to it’s been that way all year. Also, just about every restaurant was walk up.
Watching the lightning lane queues, they aren’t getting a lot of use and that’s letting standby move very quickly. I hope Disney raises the price high enough so that no one buys it.
