Wine Question at V&A

So, having been to V&A several times and enjoyed the wine pairings, I am now headed to WDW with my sister for a short bday trip. Neither her nor I feel we can handle the wine pairing!!! TOO much!! Can we order a glass of the paired wine for specific courses? Can we share a pairing? How does that work? Can we order as we go course by course or do we need to decide when we order courses? Anyone ever do the pairings and not drink it all? I just can't leave un-drank wine!!! So, moderation will not work for me!!!

I believe the answers are yes, yes, yes and yes. :rotfl: V&A is very accommodating.

Last time we went, my husband and I split the the pairings. On other occasions, I have just ordered one glass of one (usually with the meat course). I'm sure they will do whatever you would like.

V&A has a nice wine list and tries to accommodate tastes and preferences. There are wines available by the glass. However, the wine pairing option features, in our experience, interesting and unique wine choices that are not available for purchase by the glass on the wine list.

Having said that, I'm sure that Israel and his staff will work to find something you will like, which also will pair nicely with your meal, if you just wish to order a glass of wine.

I agree with Pakey that the answers are: yes, yes, yes, and yes.

Oh V&A's! What a Treat. I never know food could be so delicious (and so expensive). I felt the experience was well worth every penny though and would do it again and again if I could afford too.
To answer your question, yes you can order individual glasses of what ever with each course. V&A's will accommodate.

That's a GREAT idea, being able to split the wine pairings! Maybe next time I'll remember the trip back to the resort:rotfl2:

What about what you had for dessert??:rotfl:

Excuse me, but I remember very clearly (well, maybe only semi-clearly by dessert time) that I had the Tanzanian Chocolate Pyramid, the Hawaiian Kona Chocolate Souffle, and the Peruvian Chocolate Ice Cream with Puff Pastry. And yes, I did have to dig out the menu to get the exact wording on those, but I DID remember that's what I had without consulting said menu! And your husband had the Banana Gateau (well, of course).

I have no clue what you and Bruce had...

Did we really stop back at Basin White?

Someone needs to call La Cava del Tequila and give them a "heads up" for the 12th... Not to mention the Outer Rim, Tambu Lounge and Mizner's...
