I am looking if there is a wine package available on the 7 day Western.

Any comments?

When can it be booked and how do I find out which wines are available?

There are two wine packages available. Standard and premium wines.

There will be tables set up around the ship on embarkation day..or you can just start it at dinner the first night with your server. You will be able to see the list of wines available for each package before you purchase it.

We just came back from the 7 day western and had the 'classic' (standard) wine package with our meals. It cost about $145 and seemed like an ok deal to us. The 7 bottles of wine were mid-range varieties: A Mondavi, Rosemont, Chateau St. Michele... The premium was about $269. One of the nights (maybe the Mexican night) we skipped one of the listed bottles and asked for a pitcher of Sangria instead and that was no problem according to our waiters. It was a nice extra.

we did the premium package and we could also buy any wine on the list - there was some formula whereby they added on a bit it the bottle selected was more than the bottles on the package list - but we still got the other wine at the same discount from what we would have paid (there is a reserve wine list - just ask for it if you want to see what is available - there is some duplication - there is one bottle of French burgundy that was very good we had the last night).

Here's a copy of the two wine packages. It might change a little bit depending on their inventory, but it's been mostly the same the two times we've ordered it. I wholeheartedly recommend the Caymus Conundrum.
