Does anyone know when the wine & food festival is? We want to go to Disney in the fall, but want to avoid that time. Any off season time in the fall would be nice too.

Usually October 1 until November 15 or so.

Why would you want to avoid that? It is wonderful!

It makes Epcot a little more crowded on weekends, but weekdays are not affected.

It's a wonderful time to go....it does get a bit more crowded on week-ends but the week days are terrific. If you are trying to schedule a trip that is during the fall but not during F&W, you'll be going in Sept...it's hot/humid/stormy then. Yes, the crowds are down though. As soon as the F&W is done, you run into the early holiday crowds.

I agree with the above poster, why avoid it? It's really a wonderful festival. DH and I have done it twice and are returning this year. The crowds are really not unmanageable and it makes Epcot even more fun.

I agree, it is such an neat production. DH and I have gone several times in October over the years and found the festival to be such a joy--being a cheese-a-holic--I made sure to visit the Cabot cheese booth a few times for the samples The wine tastings are nifty to do as well. Hope you reconsider and visit during the festival.

We have booked for the first weekend of the festival. I am wondering when and how we will find out about the special classes and dinners,etc. I am notorious for just missing out by a day or two!

why would you want to avoid it? It's a great time!
