And my husband and I love German wines.

We would love to do some Winery Tours along the Rhine in Germany and sample all the way!

Love Green Label, Johann Bihn-Liebfraumilch (sp?) and just about all the rest! We don't like too dry...these are just perfect.

Also don't mind P'iat D'or from France.

Well I guess it's techincally wine, but I really like Chaucer's Mead. It's a honey wine that is like what people had in the Middle ages. It can be had chilled or warmed with spices and herbs added to it. It's sweet and quite good.

I agree with vernon and his assessment of Chilean red wines (especially Cabernet). I especially like Concha y Toro and Castillero de Diablo (sp?), two winers I was fortunate enough to tour when I was in Santiago a few years ago.

Get this!.... yesterday morning during rush hour, a big truck carrying that very wine tipped over on my exit ramp!! Fat "!" everywhere! Closed the exit for hours!! What a waste of great wine! LOL!

I like both red and white. For white I love Riesling or Liebfraumilch. For red I enjoy Beaujolais, Cabernet Sauvingnon and Shiraz. I'm not too picky on the brand, I like to try different kinds...I usually spend around $6.00 to $9.00.

I really like this wine called Fat Bas*a**..Yep that is the name!

I have a friend who we call Fat Bas*a**, but I digress.....
I just started drinking wine this year, can you imagine I went to the Food and Wine festival at Epcot last year and didn't even have a drink. This year will be different. My favorite is pinot noir, specifically Echelon or Mirassu (I know that's not how it's spelled, but it's how it sounds.)

My fav is white zin. My brand of choice is Gossamer Bay, but I got an email from them earlier this week and they have discontinued the whole GB line. She said their new brand is Turning Leaf. So next time I am at the grocery store I will have to look for the TL white zin.
